DAY
1 - ISTANBUL - Daily arrival : Apr- Oct - Choose your own date
Arrive any day . We meet your flight and escort you to your hotel. All
transfers are on a private basis

Five Star Hotels : Conrad , Hyatt, Hilton or similar
DAY
2 - ISTANBUL - (BL)
Let us show you the city: the Blue Mosque, Byzantine Hippodrome,
Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. And then the Underground
Cistern. walk thru the columns of this grand water reservoir.
Lunch is included at a local restaurant. All tours are on a private
basis
This
tour starts daily in Istanbul, yet please keep in mind that we keep
the right to substitute some site based on the following: Topkapi Palace
is closed on Tuesday. Ayasofia is closed on Monday. Kariye Museum is
closed on Wednesdays. The Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays.
DAY
3 - ISTANBUL - (BL)
"Imperial Constantinople in the Belle Epoque"
(late 19th century), the exotic romance of the "Paris of the
East:"
Morning walking tour : We start with our guide in Karaköy where
the foreign bankers and shipping companies had their headquarters, then
take the Tünel up to istiklal Caddesi; stop in the whirling dervish
tekke, and walk past the various old embassy buildings (now consulates),
and point out the architecture. Stop for tea (included) at the
famous Pera Palace Hotel.
Walk at least as far as Galatasaray Square, and have lunch in
the Çicek Pasaji (Flower Passage); then walk up to Taksim Square and
be picked up for the afternoon tour. In the afternoon the tour visit
Yildiz Palace Park and the Ihlamur Kasri, a mini-palace south of Yildiz,
and finish up with a visit to the Military History Museum in Harbiye
in time to hear the "Mehter," or Ottoman military band (mid-afternoon).
DAY
4 - CANAKKALE - (BLD)
After breakfast we start our scenic drive south to the famous Gallipoli,
we cross the strategic Dardanelles, to land in Asia ! , tour Troy ,
before we reach Çanakkale , dinner at your hotel: Iris (3 stars)
or similar.
DAY 5 - CANAKKALE –Assos - (Troy) - AYVALIK (BLD)
After breakfast we drive to Assos and Troy , then south to Ayvalik over
Edremit. Dinner and overnight in Ayvalik (lunch is included enroute)
: Halic Park Hotel Tel ( modest 4 stars )
DAY
6 - PERGAMON & IZMIR (BLD)
We drive to Pergamon to see its Acropolis, Temple of Trojan,
Altar of Zeus and Temple of Dionysus, one of the steepest theatres ever
built in the ancient world.the Red Basilica, and Asclepium or Asclepion,
one of the earliest known healing centers , then continue to Izmir
and:
Hilton Izmir hotel or similar for the night.
DAY
7- Izmir – Sardes – Pamukkale (BLD)
Today we tour the Agora of ancient Smyrna, the Archeological Museum,
afterwards drive to the Lykian capital city of Sardes (Sardis), and
see the Artemis Temple, the restored Gymnasium and the earliest known
Synagogue in Anatolia. Drive to Pamukkale , well known for the natural
pools and springs , tour
of the ancient Roman spa of Hierapolis and its warm calcium-rich mineral
baths
First Class : Pamuksu Hotel, Lycus
River Hotel or similar.
DAY 8 - Pamukkale – Acropolis – Aphrodisias –
Selcuk (B)
Morning tour of ancient Hierapolis, the terraces made of calcium deposits.
A brief stop at the Necropolis before we drive to Aphrodisias. We tour
this majestic ancient town, the stadium, theatre, Roman bath and the
Museum. Reach Selcuk early evening.

9 - Selcuk – Ephesus - Bodrum (B)
Breakfast included at the hotel. This morning we drive up mount Pagus,
visit Mary’s House, then on to tour ancient Ephesus and the major
sites, in the afternoon we tour the Archeological Museum. The evening
finds us at Bodrum. Gundem Hotel or similar
DAY
10 - Bodrum (B)
Breakfast is included at the hotel.
Day at leisure, maybe you wish to take a ferry on your own to KOS Island
for a day in a “Greek Isle“
DAY
11- Bodrum (BL)
Breakfast is included at the hotel.
Morning tour of Bodrum Castle and the underwater Archeological Museum.
In the afternoon we drive to Gurrusluk. We break for lunch (included)
; you may wish to bring your swimsuit for an afternoon dip.
DAY
12 - Bodrum – Didyma – Miletus -Selcuk (BL)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure, you may enjoy a walk on
your own thru the charming old town. In the afternoon we head for Bodrum,
enroute we visit Euromos then on to Didyma visit the famous temple then
on to Miletus, once was an important seaport, later on the harbor silted
up. Lunch is included enroute
We visit Priene before we reach Selcuk: Selcuk Kalehan Hotel
DAY
13 - Selcuk – Sirinee – Kusadasi (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning tour of this old settlement: the Sirinee
picturesque village in the mountains. Enjoy a walking tour before we
head for Kusadasi. Afternoon at leisure. Return to Selcuk for the night.
DAY 14 - Selcuk – Bursa (B)
Early morning departure for Bursa, remainder of the day at leisure.

15 - Bursa - ISTANBUL (cBL)
Breakfast at the hotel. Tour Bursa, visit the 14th century masterpiece
of Ulu Camii, the Sultan’s Tomb, and the Green Mosque, enjoy a
walking tour of the famous Bursa Bazaar and lunch before we drive to
Yalova to board the ferry for Istanbul and your hotel.
Hilton, Conrad , Hyatt or similar . Remainder
of the day at leisure.

16 - DEPARTURE (cB)
