DAY 1 - BODRUM Saturday (B)
A morning arrival at Istanbul Airport. Secure your visa prior to arrival
or get it upon arrival ( limited number of EU, American, Japanese nationalities
and others ) Sample fee $20 for American guests.
Our staff meets you at the airport and escorts
you to your connecting flight ( expect a 14:30 or 17:15 departure
, but if these are not available, then it will be an evening flight
: 19:15 or 23:55 ) to Bodrum, where we drive through rich agricultural
country, past ancient cities, and your hotel.

DAY 2 - BODRUM - BOARD your Gulet - Sunday (BD)
After breakfast our local rep, will escort you to board our yacht, a
traditional Turkish gulet, moored beneath the Crusader castle. After
meeting our captain and crew, we enjoy the first of many delicious dinners
on board. Welcome drink and information about the gulet and the tour
program. Overnight in the harbour of Bodrum.
DAY 3 - Karaada -Cruise on board your Gulet - Monday (BLD)
We cruise out of Bodrum headed for Karaada , the little island in front
of Bodrum , where we drop anchor for an afternoon of swimming and water
sports. Face masks and flippers, sailboards, canoes and fishing tackle
are all available. After lunch , cruise for 3-4 hours, we arrive at
Cati, a lovely bay surrounded with pine trees on the south coast of
the gulf. Dinner and overnight here.
DAY
4 - SEVEN ISLANDS - Tuesday (BLD)
After breakfast we set sail for the Seven Islands, where, if
the captain approves, we picnic onshore, followed by a walk. We return
to our yacht for swimming, sunning and snoozing.
DAY
5 - Cleopatra Island - Cedrear - Wednesday (BLD)
Cleopatra met Mark Anthony for a lovers' tryst at Cedreae and
received the shore as a gift. When she mentioned that it had no sand,
Mark Anthony sent his fleet to Alexandria to get some. The Egyptian
sand remains at Cedreae to this day, cooled by an ever-faithful breeze,
and the spot is as romantic as it was 2000 years ago.
We arrive the Cleopatra (Cedreae) island after a short cruise. On the
west of the island, a wonderful little beach is situated. It’s said
that the sand of this beach was brought for Cleopatra from the desert
of North Africa. Late in the afternoon, we leave the island to anchor
in one of the bays by Degimenbuku. In the afternoon after a short cruise
we arrive at Karacasogut. (This small village is only 30 km from Marmaris.)
DAY 6 - The Seven Islands- English Harbor - on board your Gulet - Thursday
(BLD)
Swimming stop in the region of Seven island or English harbour. A small
creek on the west side of this bay is called Ingiliz Limani (English
Harbour). This name is derived from the Second World War, where English
torpedo boats hid in this cove.
DAY
7 - Cruising the Turquoise Coast - on board your Gulet - Friday
(BLD)
Leaving English Harbour, we cruise to the northern side of the Gulf
to Akbuk. Here we will spend some time by swimming, surfing… etc. In
the afternoon, we continue our trip to Cokertme Bay (2 hours).
DAY
8 - Bodrum - ÇIFTLIK - Saturday (BLD)
Today we cruise back to Bodrum Back across Gökova Bay we
make our way to the anchorage at Çiftlik on our last full
day at sea, filled with the pleasures of sun and sea. Swimming, reading,
relaxing, and enjoying lazy shipboard lunches could easily become a
way of life!

DAY 9 - BODRUM - Sunday (BD)
We cruise into the harbor of ancient Halicarnassus (now Bodrum),
and tie up beneath the castle walls. Bidding farewell to our captain
and crew, we visit the Museum and the Princess exhibit, then
drive to the Marmara Bodrum Hotel or similar.
DAY
10 - Monday - KUSADASI (B,L)
Our guide and driver meet you at your hotel after breakfast and we drive
up to Kusadasi. We first stop at Didyma en route, important for its
sanctuary of Apollo and oracle. As we drive further North, we stop at
Miletus, then head on to Prienne which, in its day, was a leading member
of the Panionic League. On arrival to our hotel, we still have time
in the late afternoon hours to see the sun set over the Kusadasi Bay.
Dinner and overnight at Kismet Hotel in Kusadasi. (or similar)
DAY
11 - Tuesday - EPHESUS / ISTANBUL (B,L)
Today we first drive to the Virgin Mary's House; after that we visit
Ephesus which was founded in the eleventh century BC by the Ionians.
Strolling through the streets of Ephesus, we will witness the perfection
of the Greco-Roman Art. Later in the afternoon we will visit St John's
Basilica, believed to be the tomb of the Apostle John, Christ's beloved
disciple. From the basilica, we will be able to look down on the remains
of the temple of Artemis. We end the day with our visit to the Isa Bey
Mosque and drive to Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to take the 19:20 flight
to Istanbul. Our staff meet us on arrival and transfer us to our hotel.
Overnight at Yesil Ev in Istanbul. (or similar)
DAY
12 - ISTANBUL -Wednesday (cBLD)
In the morning we take a half-day city tour, visiting Topkapi
Palace, Sancta Sophia, and the Blue Mosque . Lunch in
a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we 'll explore the great city
Grand Bazaar . In the evening, we'll have dinner and take in
a folk show.
DAY
13 - Thursday - Home Hosted Dinner - ISTANBUL (B)
Free day in Istanbul. Explore the city on your own as you wish.
This evening we'll venture where few ordinary visitors ever tread .
. . right into the homes of some of the people of Istanbul! You'll be
invited to a family dinner, and while you enjoy wholesome home-cooked
specialties, you'll learn about and appreciate the outlook, aspirations,
and way of life of your hosts. Be assured, as curious as you may be
about your new friends, they're sure to have questions about your own
background. Once the ice is broken, you'll enjoy a lively evening, and
find that you have more in common than you ever suspected. Of course,
you may enjoy a quiet evening with your travel companions, by letting
us know your preferences.

14 - DEPARTURE Friday (cB)
