Día 1. Damasco - Domingo
Llegada a Damasco. Encuentro y asistencia por parte de nuestro personal. Trámites de entrada al país. Traslado al hotel. Cena y alojamiento.

 

 

Día 2. Damasco / Palmira - Lunes
Desayuno y día dedicado a visitar esta impresionante ciudad. Comenzaremos con el Museo Nacional de arqueología donde podremos descubrir gran parte de la historia desde los primeros anales de la existencia humana. Continuación hacia el Palacio Azem, donde podremos tener una idea de cómo vivían y de las costumbres de los damascenos. El Mausoleo de Saladino y la Gran Mezquita de los Omeyas, La Calle derecha, La Capilla de San Ananias, la Ventana de San Pablo y un paseo por sus impresionantes zocos. Por la tarde, ya finalizada la visita, traslado a Palmyra, la capital de desierto. Llegada. Cena y alojamiento.

 

 

 

Día 3. Palmira - Martes
Desayuno y comienzo de la visita de la capital del desierto. Palmira es uno de los mejores conjuntos monumentales de toda la zona. Sus ruinas son espectaculares y su grado de conservación es bastante alto. Visitaremos también las tumbas. Por la tarde sugerimos (opcional) un paseo por el palmeral o una visita a la fortaleza. Cena y alojamiento en el hotel.

 

 

 

Día 4. Palmira / Crac de los Caballeros / Hama / Alepo - Miercoles
Desayuno y salida hacia Homs, ciudad industrial del centro de Siria y continuación hacia el Crac de los Caballeros. Visita del impresionante castillo-fortaleza de la época de los cruzados. Continuación hacia Hama famosa por sus Norias de madera, artilugios aún hoy en uso para elevar el agua y permitir el regadío de tierras altas. Continuación a Alepo, la segunda ciudad de Siria. Llegada. Cena y alojamiento en el hotel.

 

 

 

Día 5. Alepo / San Simeón / Alepo - Jueves
Desayuno y comienzo de la visita de la ciudad. La ciudadela y la gran mezquita de los Omeyas. A continuación en las proximidades de Alepo, visitaremos la basílica de San Simeón el Anacoreta (una de las ciudades muertas). Basílica en estilo bizantino, que se adelantó prácticamente 5 siglos a su época. Por la tarde, de regreso a Alepo sugerimos (opcional o por su cuenta) un paseo por sus calles y por sus famosos zocos, uno de los más grandes e impresionantes del mundo árabe, con sus más de 14 km de calles, comercios, olor etc. Cena y alojamiento en el hotel.

 

 

 

Día 6. Alepo / Aphamea / Erjelleh / Maloula / Damasco - Viernes
Desayuno y salida hacia el sur. En ruta, visitaremos las ruinas greco-romanas de Aphamea. Continuación hacia Serjelleh. Modesta y pequeña ciudad en la zona agrícola, que conserva una necrópolis, una iglesia, termas etc... Continuación hacia Maloula, pequeña población construida literalmente colgada de las montañas, donde visitaremos el Monasterio de San Sergio y el Convento de Santa Tecla. Ademas esta ciudad es conocida, porque aún hoy en día, se habla el Arameo, lengua en la que hablaba Jesucristo. Continuación a Damasco. Llegada. Cena y alojamiento.

 

 

 

Día 7. Damasco / Bosra / Jerash / Amman - Sabado
Desayuno y salida hacia Bosra para visitar el famoso teatro con capacidad para 17.000 espectadores, con buenas condiciones acústicas y unas condiciones de evacuación excepcionales para la época. Continuación hacia la frontera Sirio-Jordana. Trámites. Continuación hacia Jerash, visitaremos el arco de triunfo, la plaza ovalada, el cardo, la columnata, el templo de Afrodita y el teatro romano, con una maravillosa acústica. A continuación salida hacia Amman. Llegada. Cena y alojamiento.

 

 

 

Día 8. Amman / Madaba / Monte Nebo / Mar Muerto / Petra - Domingo
Desayuno y salida hacia Madaba para visitar la iglesia ortodoxa de San Jorge. Continuación hacia el Monte Nebo para admirar la vista panorámica del valle del Jordán, el Mar Muerto desde la montaña y los mosaicos de la ermita. Continuación hacia el Mar Muerto su salinidad y sus minerales, ofrecen posibilidades curativas para diferentes enfermedades y la fabricación de productos cosméticos. Posibilidad de baño. Por la tarde continuación a Petra. Llegada. Cena y alojamiento.

 

 

 

Día 9. Petra / Amman - Lunes
Desayuno. Día completo dedicado a la visita de la ciudad rosa. Conoceremos los más importantes monumentos esculpidos en la roca por los Nabateos. El Tesoro, monumento llevado al cine por Indiana Jones, las tumbas de colores, el teatro, el monasterio... Al finalizar la visita regreso a Amman. Cena y alojamiento.

 

 

 

Día 10. Amman - Martes
Desayuno. Traslado al aeropuerto. Trámites de embarque y facturación.

It has particularly interesting collection of antiquities from some of the most ancient site in Syria (Mari, Ugarit, Ebla) , objects found in the Euphrates Basin, Hama, Tell Halaf and Ein Dara, in addition to remains from Greek, Roman, Arab and Islamic periods. Most famous of Aleppo's sights is the citadel, from where all of the city can be seen.
