We'll meet up at our BUS TERMINAL at 645 Gran
Vía (corner of Carrer del Bruc) and start off at 9:30 a.m.
for a full-day excursion that combines our Montserrat and Barcelona
Gaudi-Picasso tour itineraries.
We'll travel inland, and turn off the highway to commence our back-and-forth
climb up a great mountain to the Montserrat complex, suddenly revealed
at a twist in the road, at an altitude of 4320 feet (1235 meters).
Among other sites, we'll visit the Royal Basilica, with its twelfth-century
sculpture of the Moreneta, the famous Black Madonna of Montserrat.

Back in Barcelona, we'll see
Güell Park, designed by Antoni Gaudi and declared a heritage
site by Unesco. Our route takes us by the Sagrada Familia church,
a Gaudi masterpiece, and on by the Monumental Bullring on our way
to the Picasso Museum in the city center. Along gracious Paseo de
Gracia, we'll view some stunning examples of Barcelona architecture,
including the Lleo Morera, Ametller, and Mila (Pedrera) houses.
