which our representative will see that you're escorted to your selected
accommodations. You'll settle in and take some time to yourselves.
Later, you'll venture out to enjoy Madrid, lively at any time of
the day or night. Can't wait until 9 p.m. for dinner? Stroll into
any establishment offering tapas, plates of appetizers in astounding
varieties. Mix in with the crowds on the Gran Vía. Or head
to the huge and sedate Plaza Mayor, straight out of the Middle Ages,
where an outdoor table is waiting for you. There's so much to see
and do in Madrid!
DAY 2 - MADRID (B)
Spaniards are late risers, so on your honeymoon trip, you'll fit
right in. There's plenty of time to linger before you make your
way downstairs to the buffet breakfast included with your stay.
Or, for a treat, order an elegant room-service breakfast at your
option. Then it's off to explore. We've included a half-day Artistic
tour of the cultural attractions of the Spanish capital, including
the fabulous Royal Palace with its glittering halls, and the Prado
Museum, housing masterpieces by Goya and Velasquez. We can even
make it a private tour for just the two of you, at your option.
You may choose to visit the nearby Queen Sofia museum on your own,
to stroll in stately El Retiro Park, or relax over a glass of wine
while you watch the always-interesting street scene. For your evening's
pleasure, choose a flamenco show, an intimate restaurant, or to
make the rounds of tapas bars.

DAY 3 - MADRID, COSTA DEL SOL (B)

The shops of Madrid are jammed with fine food products and clothing
with unusual flair. By pre-arrangement, our representative will

and ultra-fast Talgo train that will speed you in luxury through
the dramatic landscapes of Castille and Andalusia to the Mediterranean
in only four hours , rest assured that you'll be met upon
arrival and escorted to your lodgings.

stands out for its winding streets, whitewashed buildings, and unspoiled
charm. Surely, Marbella offers the best of all worlds. The beach

surf, you can swim in your hotel pool. The variety of restaurants
with world cuisines will tempt your palate. (A buffet breakfast

windsurf? Water ski? Everything is easily arranged. For the more
adventurous, Spain's prime paragliding area is right here, and there
are mountain biking and horseback riding as well. For a change of
scene, board the local train that will take you into busy Malaga
in less than an hour, and spend the day exploring the old quarters.
Or head into the hills above the coast, to Andalusian villages of
whitewashed houses with red tile roofs set along narrow lanes. Five
days in Marbella are not enough!
