From
the luxurious New Stanley in Nairobi, travel on safari to the Aberdare
Mountains and spend an evening of all night game viewing at the world
famous tree hotel - The Ark. Thereafter, experience luxury tented accommodations
at Sweetwaters Tented Camp on the privately owned Ol Pejeta Ranch. These
luxury tents with ensuite facilities have showers with plenty of hot water
and modern flush toilets. Explore the flamingo-lined shores of Lake Nakuru
from the unique Lion Hill Lodge. Finally, safari to the grand spectacle
of East Africa -- the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Sarova Mara Tented
Camp is our base camp to venture out onto the rolling Savannah plains
teeming with large populations of Africa's finest game. Join us on and
experience Cairo & Kenya the way it was meant to be seen -- in the most
affordable manner.
Remember because there is limited space on the safari vehicle,
ONE medium sized bag (soft luggage preferred) is allowed on the safari
vehicle per person, plus your carry on.

flying from West Coast cities : SFO, LAX, SAN , SEA for example will be
on board Lufthansa or British Airways or France, flying non -stop to Europe
then onward to Cairo , but in economy class, there is no business class
special deal from the West Coast.
DAY
02 , Friday - CAIRO
Arrive at Cairo Airport. Our ground staff will meet you at the airport.
A welcome fruit basket with our compliments awaits you at your room at
the hotel. Egyptian an d Arabic sweets and Hot Tea or coffee.
Sample Hotel: J. W. Marriott. Grand Hyatt , Ramses Hilton , Meridien ,
Sheraton or similar.
Visa fee is to be paid by the guests upon arrival at Cairo Airport ( $15
subject to change) , visa may be issued upon arrival for a limited number
of nationalities such as : American, Australian, Canadians, EU , S. Korean
, Singaporean , and Japanese. Your passport must be valid at least for
6 month beyond the date of arrival . After
exiting the terminal, our local representative will escort you (private
vehicle) to the hotel.

DAY
03 - Saturday - CAIRO (BLD)
American or buffet breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we tour the
treasure filled Egyptian Museum , including the "Mummies Room"
and King Tut's Gold Treasure room .
Lunch is included at Naguib Mahfouz restaurant or similar. In the afternoon
we head for Saladin's Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque and El Rifai Mosque
before we descend on the legendary Khan El-Khalili Bazaar and embark on
a true treasure hunt , before heading back to the hotel for dinner.
DAY
04 - SUNDAY / CAIRO / Nairobi - Business Class on board Egyptair
(BLD)
American breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we visit the majestic
pyramids of Giza and the timeless Sphinx. Only for the ones who are physically
fit, a complimentary ticket on the house to enter the King's Chamber in
the heart of the Great Pyramid (sometimes it 's closed for repairs, lighting
or ventilation systems, in which case you will enter the Kephren Pyramid),
after lunch, we tour the treasure filled Egyptian Museum. Before heading
back to the hotel for dinner. Evening transfer to the airport to board
Egyptair flight for Nairobi .Flying in business class , included in our

05 , MONDAY / ARRIVE NAIROBI
Morning arrival in Nairobi. Our tour manager will meet and transfer us
to the elegant New Stanley Hotel, located in the heart of the city center.
The remainder of the day is at leisure for shopping, relaxation or optional
city tours. This evening, our safari briefing. New Stanley Hotel

06 , TUESDAY / ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK
Safari life begins as we head towards the highlands. After lunch at the
Aberdare Country Club, we'll head deep into the Aberdare Mountains to
The Ark which is situated in a fairyland forest. Stay up all night if
you wish game viewing from the observation decks or underground bunker.
Situated beside a floodlit water hole and natural salt lick, a constant
parade of wildlife will visit throughout the night. There is absolutely
no limit to the number of animals we'll see. Birds and bushbuck are joined
by elephant, buffalo, rhino, hyena, forest hog or leopard. The Ark (B,L,D)

07 , WEDNESDAY / OL PEJETA RANCH
After breakfast we're off to the Ol Pejeta Ranch - an 110,000 acre private
ranch which encompasses a rich terrain of plains, low hills and forest.
Each of our luxury tents has a private verandah and overlooks a floodlit
water hole. Many different species can be seen here, including the reticulated
giraffe, buffalo, elephant, zebra, leopard, and oryx. Schedule optional
visits to the chimpanzee sanctuary, camel rides or nature walks. This
evening holds a special treat -- a night game drive to search for the

08 , THURSDAY / LAKE NAKURU PARK
Today, we travel through serene farmlands to Thompson's Falls and then
on to Lake Nakuru. This is one of the world's most important bird sanctuaries.
Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake and boasts enormous flocks of pastel
flamingos, as well as other bird species. Lake Nakuru National Park is
a lush green park and home to many species including reedbuck, bushbuck,
wart hog, leopard, and the rare Rothschild giraffe. It has also been designated

09 , FRIDAY / MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After breakfast, we drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya's most
spectacular wildlife sanctuary. This is big game country and our home
for the next two nights. The Masai Mara has been long-famed as one of
Africa's greatest concentrations of game. Staggering numbers of plains
game are found here, which in turn support a tremendous predator population.
During our afternoon game run, we have opportunities to see herds of impala,
giraffe, elephant, topi, buffalo, wart hog, as well as lion, cheetah,

DAY
10, SATURDAY / MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Our schedule today includes pre-breakfast and late afternoon game drives.
We shall travel across the rolling Savannah's to rendezvous with the Mara
residents: herds of buffalo, wildebeest, hartebeest, impala, and gazelle.
Near the riverain woodland, large numbers of giraffe and elephants are
to be seen. Hippo and crocodile can be found in the rivers. Boasting Kenya's
largest predator population, this reserve is renown for lion prides up

11, SUNDAY/NAIROBI
After breakfast, we shall return via the Great Rift Valley to Nairobi
and transfer to our welcoming hotel. The balance of the afternoon is free

12- MONDAY / CAIRO
It's Kwaheri from Africa (a Swahili good-bye) as we transfer to the airport,
you will board Egyptair flight to Cairo this morning. Hotel : Grand Hyatt
Downtown over looking the Nile. Remainder of the day at leisure. (B)

13 - SHARM EL SHEIK --
Tuesday
(B)
We're headed to a special place, today, off the traditional visitors'
itineraries. After breakfast, we'll board our flight for the short trip
to Sharm El Sheikh on the Red Sea. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy
this unique desert beach resort. Relax by the cerulean waters, take a
camel ride at your option, and observe in the distance the steady line
of ships heading to and from the Suez Canal.

14 - SHARM EL SHEIK - Wednesday
- CAMEL CARAVAN or Horseback Ride

Relax! This is your day to absorb all that you've seen and experienced
so far, not to mention the bright Egyptian sun and sparkling sea.

Camel Caravan or on Horse Backs :
A two hour caravan on camels, if you prefer to enjoy a 2 hour of horse
back riding, please do let's know, but in this case the horse ride will
not be into the Sahara .
The camel caravan is fully escorted & guided as well by local Bedouins
through the desert and through the mountain passes of El Aat mountain
, we stop at the highest point in the valley for a cup of tea with the
Bedouin, take in the the evening charm of the desert & nature before
we head back to your hotel.
DAY
15 - MOUNT SINAI Thursday (BL)
Our knowledgeable guides arrange a pre-dawn departure into the still-cool
wilderness of Sinai, through which Moses led the Children of Israel to
the Promised Land. Our goal is the Monastery of St. Catherine, built of
rock at the base of Mount Sinai, at the site of the Burning Bush. We tour
the monastery, rich in history, icons and sacred paintings, then return
to Sharm El Sheik.

16 - AQABA, PETRA -Friday (B)
We'll drive to the port of Nuweiba, where we'll board the Red Sea ferry.
Across the water in Aqaba, with Israel and Saudi Arabia in sight, our
Jordan-based representative waits to greet you. You'll drive north under
a towering ridge of mountains, and arrive at your hotel in Petra for the
night. Complimentary Jordanian visa fee (valid only for American & Japanese
citizens. Passports must be valid for at least 6 month upon arrival).

17- PETRA- Saturday
(B)
We'll spend the entire day at Petra, the stunning desert city hewn by
the Nabateans from solid cliffs of pink and violet sandstone. Petra was
known in the bible as Sela, and rediscovered only in 1812. You'll feel
like Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark as you penetrate into the
city through a narrow sandstone gorge, the Siq, and wander among the Temple
of the Winged Lion, tombs, Roman theater, and the imposing Treasury.

18 - PETRA/ WADI RUM / JERASH - Sunday (BL)
After
breakfast at the hotel, we board four-wheel-drive vehicles for an expedition
to Wadi Rum, the "Valley of the Moon" where T. E. Lawrence ("Lawrence
of Arabia") organized Arab resistance to Ottoman rule during World War
I. After our visit, we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant then on to
to Jerash, among the best-preserved Roman cities in the world, to tour
its temples, theaters, churches and colonnaded streets. From Jerash, we
will escort you back to Amman
and your hotel.

19 - DEPARTURE FOR HOME - Monday (B)
Our staff escorts you to the airport of Amman for your flight home. Or,
you may choose to add one of our extensions, and return later from Jordan
at no additional cost for your air fare.
