The
Kasbah Tamadot is a true 1001 Moroccan Nights magical walled "
Honeymooners dream come true " , set on the side of the rolling
hills of the High Atlas Mountains. From here you will enjoy stunning
views; to the north extends a steep river valley, with sheer rocky limestone
and forested mountains on either side, in contrast to the view of the
breathtaking snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains on the southern
side. To the east, across the river, you can see a traditional Berber
village built into the side of the mountain.

Few
years back , when Sir Richard Branson was in Marrakech preparing for
one of his ballooning stunts, his mother Eve came across a pink, turreted
castle in the foothills of Morocco's High Atlas mountains. She fell
in love with it , built less than a century ago, and persuaded her son
to add it to his collection of hotels and islands. Sir Richard bought
the building and a nearby warehouse, still packed with the antiques
collected by the previous owner, an American- Italian dealer. The location
is spectacular, clinging to the edge of a dusty hill, a river gorge
below and the 13,670ft summit of Mount Toubkal, North Africa's highest
peak
