We meet you at Queen Alia Airport and escort you to your hotel. Transfers are always on a private basis. Private air-conditioned vehicle with a private chauffeur. Monday, Amman -Petra -Day 2: (BL)
This day is dedicated to discovering Amman, the capital of the Kingdom of Jordan, with its unique combination of modern sites and archeological highlights, and Jerash, the best preserved Roman City of the East. Lunch enroute, in a charming local restaurant, in the late afternoon we proceed to Petra for check-in and overnight at the hotel of your choice.

Tuesday, Day 3 - Petra : (BLD)
A full day tour of Jordan's most famous site, the rose-red city of Petra. Venture through the Siq (the gorge between two towering mountains) until you reach the treasury which, like the most of the structures at Petra, is carved into the rose-red Nubian sandstone.

In the evening we will call on you for a unique experience :
Dine as a local : The Petra Kitchen is a delightful way to round out your Jordan travel experiences. Like any home kitchen, The Petra Kitchen is a relaxed, informal atmosphere where you’ll gather to prepare an evening meal, working alongside local women under the supervision of our chef.

Each evening meal includes soup, cold and hot mezza ( appetizers ) and salads, and a main course—all typical Jordanian dishes. You will have get an inside glimpse of the secrets behind the famous regional cuisine of the Levant.

The Petra Kitchen offers an evening of learning, fun and a very special dining experience, with each dish gaining the special flavor of a reward well-earned. Great care has been taken to make The Petra Kitchen a truly Jordanian experience—right down to the furnishings, all crafted in Jordan, the tableware, all produced by the Iraq al Amir Women’s Co-operative, and the aprons and table linens, all hand-embroidered by the Jordan River Foundation.

Tour experience tonight includes the cuisine course, meal and all non-alcoholic beverages as well as take-home recipes for all dishes prepared that evening.

Wednesday, DESERT CASTLES Day 4- The Dead Sea : (BL)
After an early breakfast we head north for a full day tour to the Desert Castles :
Qasr Amra Bath and its Zodiac Dome, the Fortress like Qasr Karana, and the Roman Fort , turned into residence by the Ummayds : Qasr El Hallabat, and the black basalt Roman/Medieval fort at Azraq. After lunch ,drive back to the Dead Sea , overnight at the Kempinski or Movenpick Dead Sea Resort . Lunch is included today enroute.

Day 5 - Departure - Amman : (B)
After breakfast head for the airport. Bon Voyage . Departure tax is included in our rate.

We just completed a month long deluxe trip to Morocco, Egypt and Jordan and used Travel In Style, San Francisco, for all three countries. Their services were extra-ordinary. They work closely with you to tailor the trip to your specifications and are very flexible. In each country we were met promptly at the airport -- in Egypt and Jordan even inside customs! -- by a tour representative and taken to our car for transport to our hotels. Guides and drivers were personable and knowledgeable. When a small glitch arose in Cairo and I e-mailed the local rep and Omar at Travel In Style in San Francisco, the local Cairo rep called me twenty minutes later! Omar had received the e-mail and immediately telephoned the local agency to make sure everything was handled promptly and to our complete satisfaction. We are experienced travelers, but I am still amazed at the level of service we received. Highest recommendations.

Our family of 4 took a 3 week vacation in Egypt & Jordan in October . The trip was organized by Travel in Style, San Francisco.

We choose Travel in Style as they allowed us a better variety of hotel choices and Nile cruise boat choices. We selected the Sonesta Star Goddess and the Four Seasons Hotels in both Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh.

After 3 days in Cairo, we took a week boat trip from Aswan to Luxor and back to Aswan . We then flew to Abu Simbel for the day, before heading off to the Sinai. From the Sinai we took a 3 day tour into Petra, Jordan. We ended up with a couple of relaxing days at The Four Seasons Resort in Sharm.

Travel in Style completely accommodated our many requests for various destinations.

As an architect, there were certain sites that were important for me to see while there and Travel in Style had no problem adding these requests to our itinerary.

Travel in Style, through their agents in Egypt and Jordan, provided terrific local support. The Guides (all Egyptologists) were absolutely excellent and the agents and drivers were superb.

Most importantly, throughout the trip we felt safe. Additionally, agents and guides were always flexible to our needs and requests.

We have no hesitation in recommending Travel in Style. It was a fantastic holiday on every level.

We agree whole-heartedly. This is an exceptional small travel agency.
Aside from working closely in advance to personalize our deluxe month-long trip to Morocco, Egypt and Jordan, their advice was superb. At each destination we were met at the airport by a local rep (in Cairo and Amman actually inside the customs area) and escorted to our hotels where they handled the check-in for us. At each airport departure, their rep handled the check-in and luggage check for us. We felt like visiting diplomats. When a small glitch in the itinerary occurred while we were in Cairo, I e-mailed the local rep and also Omar in San Francisco. Within 20 minutes the owner of the Cairo agency telephone me to assure me all had been straightened out; Omar had telephoned him immediately upon receiving my e-mail to make sure his client was well cared for. We cannot recommend them highly enough and believe it would be a mistake to plan a trip to this area without consulting them.

Our itinerary was the best of anyone's in all of Jordan and Egypt. We did some market research for you. We met the A and K guide. He was our tour guide's cousin. Their Itinerary was not as good as ours. We also met the Odyssey people, Circle Tours etc. No one had an itinerary like ours. Ours was very complete and perfect. Good job Travelinstyle.
The Hyatt in Cairo was the best (very convenient, loved watching the boats on the Nile every morning at breakfast). You know I'm a big fan of the Oberoi hotels, but the one in Cairo was too dark and too far away and more important, no Nile view.
The rooms were great everywhere except the Marriott in Jordan. The entire hotel needs paint etc. The Kempinski was the best. Rooms were out of this world. Spa was good also. Ditto for the Hyatt in Cairo and Sharm.
The diving was the best in Sharm and Dennis and I have dove at the Barrier Reef etc.
Food was good everywhere. Service can be improved on everywhere. They need to take lessons from the SouthEast Asia people.
The camel market was the best as was Petra and Wadi Rum (great photos).
The guides were good everywhere.
Great job Omar. Your company is the best and we will be recommending your company to all of our friends who travel internationally.
We also plan on using your company in several years to travel to Turkey and Syria.
