DAY
1 - Sharm / Aqqaba (D)
Private car /driver from you hotel in Sharm or Dahab to Nuweiba to board
the Speed boat heading foe Aqqaba.
Arrive
any day of the week, daily departure , year round.
Our staff will meet you upon arrival in Aqqaba.(about :3 PM, drive time
Aqqaba/Petra: 1 1/2 hour)
There is no visa requirement for arrival into Aqabba : for American,
EU , Australian, NZ , Singaporean & Japanese passport holders. Passport
must be valid at least for 6 month beyond the date of your arrival.
And
escort you to your beach resort in Aqaba. Dinner is included on a complimentary
basis at the hotel.
DAY
2- Wadi Rum- Aqqaba (BLD)
After breakfast at the hotel proceed in jeeps /4 wheel drive to Visit
the Wadi Rum Desert and its awesome moonlike landscape: We board four-wheel-drive
vehicles for our expedition to Wadi Rum, the "Valley of the Moon" where
T. E. Lawrence ("Lawrence of Arabia") organized Arab resistance to Ottoman
rule during World War I. Lunch is included at a charming local restaurant
In
the afternoon ,we'll be offering a complimentary panoramic tour of Aqqaba.
DAY
3 - PETRA (BD)
Today the fabulous Nabatean City of Petra awaits us. Made famous in
the Indiana Jones movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark," its ancient temples,
tombs and striking Khazneh (Treasury) were hewn right from the pink
and violet sandstone. We spend a full day here to visit the many sites
of Petra, the city that was caved into the rose-red Sharah Mountains
by the Nabateans and lost to civilization until it was rediscovered
by the Swiss Burkhardt. Walk through the Siq, a narrow and winding fissure
between the cliffs, to reach the treasury, the Roman Theater, the Courts,
Qasr Bint Pharaoun, Temple of the Winged Lion and other monuments. A
break for optional lunch, or you may wish to climb up to the Monastery.
Overnight in Petra.

4 - PETRA (BD)
Enjoy another day in this Indiana Jones City of Petra , explore on your
own, or ask us for additional optional touring.
Now
open in Petra, The Petra Kitchen is a delightful way to round out your
Jordan travel experiences. Like any home kitchen, The Petra Kitchen
is a relaxed, informal atmosphere where you’ll gather to prepare
an evening meal, working alongside local women under the supervision
of our chef.
Each
evening meal includes soup, cold and hot mezza and salads, and a main
course—all typical Jordanian dishes. You will have get an inside
glimpse of the secrets behind the famous regional cuisine of the Levant.
The
Petra Kitchen offers an evening of learning, fun and a very special
dining experience, with each dish gaining the special flavor of a reward
well-earned. Great care has been taken to make The Petra Kitchen a truly
Jordanian experience—right down to the furnishings, all crafted
in Jordan, the tableware, all produced by the Iraq al Amir Women’s
Co-operative, and the aprons and table linens, all hand-embroidered
by the Jordan River Foundation.
The
rate includes the cuisine course, meal and all non-alcoholic beverages
as well as take-home recipes for all dishes prepared that evening.
DAY
5 - Petra - Jerash - AMMAN
(BL)
Enjoy breakfast before we head for a
tour of Jerash (Gerasa of antiquity), the best preserved city
of Roman times. Visit its theaters, temples, churches and colonnaded
streets. Then continue to Ajloun to tour the 12th century Saracen Castle
built by one of Saladin’s lieutenants in the campaign against the Crusaders.
before we head for Amman.
DAY 6 - AMMAN
(BLD)
Breakfast at the hotel , a
morning tour of Amman. Visit the Roman Theater, the Citadel, the Archaeology
and Folklore Museums, old and modern Amman and one of the many art galleries
in this enchanting capital city. Afternoon is free for your leisure.
In the evening visit Kan Zaman Village for dinner, a Folklore show and
a preview of the many handicraft ateliers.
DAY
7 - AMMAN (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day at leisure .Own activities in
Amman .

8 - Sharm El Sheikh (B)
We
head back to the airport for your flight back to Cairo and Sharm El
Sheikh ( Depending on the day & flights ( it may be via Cairo )
. Ticket issued & delivered in Cairo .
Your private air conditioned coach/car will await you in Sharm . If
the flight is via Cairo . Our local rep will assist with your transfer
between terminals , the new visa to re-enter Egypt ( Fee included on
a complimentary basis).
For those going on to Syria with us. You will continue on to The Syrian
border, visit Bosra before continuing to Damascus. Or if you are touring
Syria on your own, we'll be glad to arrange for the transfer to Bosra
in Syria ( no additional charge, minimum 2 guests, private car/driver
to Bosra). Jordanian
departure tax is included in our rate.
