Ah, Sicily , the pleasure of fine Sicilian and Italian cooking is not only in the preparation. It involves the selection of the finest ingredients. Italians can distinguish a cheese by the pasture where its raw milk originated. Buon Appetito!

The most original and refined tour of Sicily, covering the highlights of Sicily in small groups (max 14 guests ): including the most classical sites of Sicily : Segesta, Selinunte, The Valley of Temples, Piazza Armerina, Syracuse and the historical and artistic sites of the Medieval, Norman, Baroque and Liberty eras : Erice, Taormina, Ortigia, Acireale, Catania, Palermo and even the boldest exhibitions of contemporary art. Accommodation is guaranteed in charming boutique & intimate size hotels . Half board basis (dinner is included ) with exception on the day of arrival.

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN Sicily - Saturdays
Our representative will meet you at the airport of Catania , and escort you to your lodgings . Welcome drink and a short briefing on your program by your local tour escort. (6.30 p.m.) . Evening at leisure.

DAY 2 - Sunday: (P. Armerina/Cefalù) 300 Km
After breakfast. Meeting with the escort (h. 8 a.m.). Departure for Piazza Armerina: visit to the Roman Villa of Casale, and its magnificent mosaics. Continuation to Cefalù. Free time to explore the characteristic town, famous for its Norman Cathedral. Departure for Palermo. Accommodation at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay .

DAY 3 - Monday: (Monreale/Palermo) 30 Km
Breakfast. Guided tour of Monreale (The Cathedral and its golden mosaics, the Benedictine Cloister). Palermo (Palazzo dei Normanni and Palatine Chapel, the Cathedral, Piazza Pretoria, the Martorana,, Massimo Theatre). Afternoon , visit and drink at private, ancient palace of the local nobility . Dinner at restaurant and overnight.

DAY 4 - Tuesday: (Segesta/Erice) 130 Km
Breakfast. Departure for Segesta, the ancient city of the Elimi with the inspiring Doric Temple. Proceed to visit the medieval town of Erice with pastry sampling . Accommodation at the “Tonnara Bonagia” hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5 - Wednesday: (Marsala/Agrigento) 200 Km
Breakfast. Visit of the salt-pans and the antique mills of Trapani. Break/wine tasting in a Cellar of the famous Marsala. Proceeding to Agrigento. Visit of the archaeological park of the Valley of Temples. Accommodation at hotel. Dinner. After dinner panoramic tour of the illuminated Valley of Temples.

DAY 6 - Thursday: (Siracusa) 340 Km
Breakfast. Departure for Syracuse (Greek theatre, Roman amphitheater and the Baroque island-city of Ortygia (Cathedral Square, Arethusa Fountain). Transfer at hotel. Dinner & accommodation at hotel. Dinner.

DAY7 - Friday: (Etna/Taormina) 90 Km
Breakfast. Excursion to Mount Etna: visit of the extinct craters (1.900 m.). Afternoon visit of Taormina (Greek Theatre and historic centre). Farewell dinner. Overnight stay.

DAY 8- Saturday: (Departure) 70 Km
Breakfast. End of services (individual transfer on request) or extension.
