Your schedule is your own, without planned group activities or tours, though you're free to select these at your whim and fancy, with our assistance. DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN ATHENS
Our Athens-based personnel meets you at the international airport, assists you with the formalities, and sees you to your charming and comfortable hotel . Check in, relax, then take a stroll through the lively streets. Browse for treasures and curios, savour a coffee or aperitif at a terrace café, or enjoy a fine meal in the old Plaka district.

DAY 2 - ATHENS (B)
Enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Greek capital ( on your own) l, including Syntagma Square, and the towering Acropolis. If you wish, we'll assist you with a tour to the city sights, or beyond, to Corinth, Olympia, and the heart of Classical Greece.

DAY 3 - ATHENS, MYKONOS (B)
Relax, and revisit a favorite café or shop today. Then we'll call for you and see you to the airport for your flight over the blue Aegean to Mykonos (included in our rate) , Isle of Windmills. Extend your stay in Mykonos

DAY 4   - MYKONOS (B)
You'll spend three days on Mykonos-enough to when your appetite for your return!
To stay in your lovely deluxe hotel and enjoy the beach, the service, and the amenities.

Day 5- MYKONOS (B)
Or to venture out to explore some of the 350 whitewashed churches and chapels, dramatic cliffs, coves, and villages . . . that is the question! No doubt, you'll mix a bit of both; and with windmills to photograph and fishermen to watch along the sea, your days will be filled.

DAY 6 - MYKONOS, SANTORINI (B)
Spend another relaxing morning. Reserve some time to stroll the cobbled lanes of Mykonos, to sip an ouzo or retsina at a waterside café, to discover a beach or two, to pick up a loaf of fresh bread and cheese and olives, and picnic on a hillside as you look out to sailboats at sea. We'll rendezvous in time to take you to your fast ferry/hydrofoil for Santorini, where you'll find a room waiting in a four-star beach hotel.

DAY 7 - SANTORINI (B)
Enjoy breakfast at your lovely hotel and linger for as long as you wish. When you venture out, explore the cliff top town of Thira with its winding paths leading from view to spectacular view.

Day 8 - SANTORINI (B)
Or, take a boat across to the dormant volcano, and ascend through a crater-pocked moonscape to the crater. Or savour a soak in hot sulphur springs. Arrange a winery visit, or an outing to Akrotiri, reputedly the site of fabled Atlantis.

DAY 9 - SANTORINI, CRETE (B)
We'll rendezvous in time to take you to your flight to Crete, Hreaklion & your hotel. Flights operate only on Thu & Sat, on other days, it will be the ferry which is 5 hours, or flights via Athens (Supplement applies$ $95).

DAY 10 - CRETE (B)

DAY 11 - CRETE (B)

DAY 12 - Athens / Istanbul (B)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer is included in Crete from the Hotel to Crete Airport.
Fly back to Athens air ticket Crete / Athens / Istanbul is included and issued in Athens.
At Athens airport , please proceed on your own to connect with the onward travel to Istanbul.

DAY 13 - ISTANBUL (BL)
Private air-conditioned vehicle, private chauffeur , private guide : Today we tour the Blue Mosque , Aya Sophia, and Topkapi Palace, with its Ottoman treasures. Lunch is included at a charming local restaurant , in the afternoon we will enjoy a guided walking tour of the Grand Bazaar offers endless bargains in its 5000 stands, kiosks, and shops. Soak up the atmosphere of a traditional coffee house, complete with bubbling water pipes. And if we still have time, take a cruise on the Bosphorus.

DAY 14 - IZMIR (B)
We fly to Izmir , we ascend Kadifekale, Izmir's hill crowned by a fortress built by Alexander the Great, drive to Kusadasi. Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 15 - EPHESUS & KUSADASI .(BL)
In the morning light , it's off to biblical Ephesus to see the Basilica of St. John the Evangelist, who came here with the Virgin Mary. Passing the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, we reach Ephesus, the most impressive ancient city on the Mediterranean. Here at the great Amphitheater in Ephesus the rioters cried against St. Paul " Great is the Diana of Ephesians" .

Ephesus was the capital of Roman Asia Minor, and the Basilica of St. John, said to mark his tomb. Ephesus is where Mary spent her last days. The Church of the Virgin Mary built in the early days of Christianity , Ephesus was the seat of the Council of Ephesus ( If you are interested in visiting the Council of Ephesus, please let's know in advance.

Lunch at a local restaurant. After our tour, we continue to the fine Ephesus Museum and the hilltop House of the Virgin Mary, said to be her last home on earth. We spend the night again in the Aegean resort of Kusadasi .

DAY 16 - DEPARTURE from Izmir (B)
Do your last-minute shopping this morning, or just linger deliciously in bed, like Turkish royalty. Then we'll call for you and see you to IZMIR airport to begin your journey home. Bon Voyage.
