1 - ARRIVAL IN ATHENS
Tour starts Daily in Athens : April- Oct
Our Athens-based personnel
meets you at the international airport, assists you with the formalities,
and sees you to your charming and comfortable hotel (private transfer
from Athens Airport to your hotel) , your base for the next two nights.
Check in, relax, then take a stroll through the lively streets. Browse
for treasures and curios, or savor a coffee or aperitif at a terrace
café.
Morning
arrivals for guests flying from Europe or the east coast of the
USA may connect same day to Crete if so desire and have Athens's stay
at the end or eliminate Athens completely
DAY
2 - ATHENS (BL)
Enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Greek capital, today we
have included a half day ( private tour) tour of Syntagma Square,
and the towering Acropolis. Lunch is included at a charming local Greek
restaurant . private car/driver/guide.
DAY
3 - ATHENS, CRETE (B)
We'll call for you and see you to the airport for your flight over the
blue Aegean to Crete (Air fare included, to Heraklion ), and our local
rep will escort you to your hotel.

4 - Crete (B)
Enjoy breakfast at your lovely hotel,or venture out,to explore ON
YOUR OWN. Maybe join an optional tour .

5 - Crete(B)
Another day to relax in this Mediterranean paradise ,or to explore ON
YOUR OWN.

6 - Crete - Own activities(B)
To stay in your lovely hotel and enjoy the beach, the service, and the
amenities, or to venture out to explore some of the , coves, and villages
. . . that is the question! No doubt, you'll mix a bit of both; Relax,
and revisit a favorite café or shop ,sip an ouzo or retsina at a waterside
café, discover a beach or two, pick up a loaf of fresh bread and cheese
and olives, and picnic on a hillside as you look out to sailboats at
sea. Your days will be filled.
DAY
7 - CRETE (BL)
Knossos: (this excursion operates on Wed's & Sat's), other tours
will be used for other days of the week based on your dates : Today
in Heraklion. We visit the unique 5000 year old open air museum, enjoy
lunch is included in a local restaurant , and tour to the three-story
Minoan palace of Knossos. Private air conditioned vehicle, private

DAY
8 - CRETE (B)
Enjoy your stay at the hotel or explore one of the beaches. Or explore
on your own the Venetian part of the old town , see below more details

DAY 9 - CRETE or ATHENS (B)
Do your last-minute shopping today , or just linger deliciously in bed.
Then we'll call for you and see you to the airport to fly back to Athens
( air ticket is included in our rate) .
If your flight on Day 10 is an afternoon one, then you may stay
tonight in Crete if you prefer, then connect on Day 10 Crete/Athens

We just wanted to let you know we made it back home after our weeklong
detour through Italy. Athens was fantastic. The tours were very good,
and short of heading out to the islands, I can't think of a single thing
we would have rather done while there.
Although we had an excellent time in Athens, Egypt was by far the highlight
of our entire trip, including Italy.
We just can't say enough about Ahmed, Isis, Ashraf, and all our drivers.
We simply could not have done the trip without their help.
Ahmed was very professional, courteous, and helpful, and always went
out of his way to make sure we were where we needed to be at the right
time. Our Egyptologist guides, Isis and Ashraf, were both very knowledgeable
and made our visit so much better with their endless supply of information.
We wore out both days long before they did. We will definitely try to
come back to Egypt when we have more time to spend.
Thank you so much for arranging the trip, allowing us to customize what
we needed to, and putting us in touch with such good people. And please
find attached pictures of us enjoying a camel ride. :-)
