1 - JFK - LONDON - Saturday
Board your comfortable British Airways flight JFK to London, overnight
across the Atlantic.
For West Coast guests please add $ 350 , in this case you 'll fly non-stop
to London from SFO, LAX, SEA or SAN

2 - LONDON - Sunday
In London! We welcome you to a two-night stay in a 3- or 4-star
hotel (of our choosing) .
Private airport transfer : our local rep. will meet you at Heathrow and
assist with your private transfer to your hotel, settle in, and enjoy
this world-renowned cultural and entertainment destination.

3 - LONDON - Monday (cB)

4 - LONDON - Tuesday (cB)
Enjoy continental breakfast at your hotel, before heading out to see the
sights (on your own) .
A must-see: the Rosetta Stone, discovered by Champollion in 1822,
which provided the key to understanding ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic
writing. It's on display in the British Museum, along with mummies,
embalmed crocodiles, papyrus scrolls, and hundreds of other priceless
Egyptian works of art in the Upper Egyptian Galleries.

5 - LONDON & CAIRO- Wednesday (cB)
Enjoy another continental breakfast--on us--at your hotel, then get ready
to meet our local rep. for your private transfer to Heathrow Airport to
board your flight to Cairo .
Air fare is of course included: London Cairo , in economy class , tax
included
Our representative greets you at Cairo's international airport, helps
you with formalities, and accompanies you to your hotel. Settle in, then
perhaps take a walk to get your first look at the great Egyptian capital.
Visa fee is included.
Visa
is issued upon arrival for : American, Canadian, EU & Japanese citizens,
your are responsible for having your passport valid for at least 6 month
beyond the date of arrival.

As you exit the gate, you will pass through a door or two , down some
stairs , then walk for 2-5 minutes , until you pass the duty free shops,
at the end of a wide corridor , you will see the security officers. There
you will be met by a local representative, who will be holding a sign
with the name you prefer to use for the sign .
Our local representative will then take your passport to obtain a stamp
from the cashier / bank window and escort you to speak with the passport
officer. He will escort you through another last check on your passport
as you exit the passport control, into customs area, he will assist you
in collecting your luggage and clearing customs . After exiting the terminal,
our local representative will escort you (private vehicle) to
the hotel

6 - CAIRO - Thursday (BLD)
Today we show you the top sights: the treasure-filled Egyptian Museum,
including the "Mummies room" the awesome Pyramids of Giza,
the Solar Boat Museum and the Great Sphinx, . Luncg is included
at the Mena House or Meridien Pyramids .

This evening we'll venture where few ordinary visitors ever tread . .
. right into the homes of some of the people of Cairo ! You'll be invited
to a family dinner, and while you enjoy wholesome home-cooked specialties,
you'll learn about and appreciate the outlook, aspirations, and way of
life of your hosts. Be assured, as curious as you may be about your new
friends, they're sure to have questions about your own background. Once
the ice is broken, you'll enjoy a lively evening, and find that you have
more in common than you ever suspected. Of course, you may enjoy a quiet
dinner at the hotel by letting us know your preferences.

7 - LUXOR - Friday (B)
We arrive in Luxor and settle into your Nile view room at the Old Winter
Palace, New Winter Palace or the Pavillion Winter Palace subject to availilibilty
, then on to explore, Luxor Museum , the huge Temple of Luxor and
the truly gigantic Great Temple of Amon and on to the mighty Karnak
temple complex , the largest religious compound man ever built , thing
of 20 Vatican cities put together .
In the evening, your guide will call on your for horse drwan carriage
ride through Luxor's lively streets and bazaar.

8 - LUXOR - Nile Cruise - Saturday (BLD)
After breakfast , check out from your hotel . Crossing the Nile, we tour
the magnificent tombs in the Valley of the Kings including Tutank-amon
tomb and Valley of the Queens, including the great funerary
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon
We check-in on board your deluxe Nile cruise , wellcome complimentary

In the afternoon we sail for Esna pass through the locks .
DAY
9 - Full Day Cruise - Sunday (BLD)
A grand Day of sailing past scenery that changed little since Biblical
times .
All meals are included on board . We reach Edfu where we dock for the
night. .
DAY
10 - EDFU - Monday (BLD)
In Edfu, where we board horse-drawn carriages to clip-clop through
the town. Our goal is the grand Temple of Horus, the best-preserved
ancient temple on the Nile. After our temple tour, we return by carriage
to our cruise vessel and continue upriver, docking at Kom Ombo for the
night.

11 - KOM OMBO & ASWAN - Tuesday (BLD)
We begin our day by touring the famous Twin Temple of Kom Ombo,
dedicated to Horus (the sun god) and Sobek (the crocodile god). The sun
disc symbol is prominent, as is a tomb for mummified crocodiles! Then
we re-embark for the cruise to Aswan. After a leisurely shipboard
lunch, we board a traditional felucca for a sail among the rocky
islands below the Nile's First Cataract. If you're interested, we'll take
you on a mini-camel caravan to a Nubian village. Late in the afternoon
we sail back to our Nile cruiser for dinner and a good night's sleep.
DAY
12 - ASWAN & ABU SIMBEL - Wednesday (B)
After breakfast, we check out of our Nile cruiser and head off to see
the Nubian Museum, the great Aswan High Dam, a technological marvel
of its time. From the dam we go to an ancient Pharaonic rock quarry
where a huge obelisk of red Nile granite lies unfinished--as though the
workers put down their tools just yesterday, rather than thousands of
years ago.
Tour
of Kalabsha Temple dedicated to the ancient god Mandulis, and the
goddess Isis . Built during the reign of the Roman Emperor Augustus
, the small rock-cut temple of Beit El Wali, built by Ramses
the Great , and the small yet charming Kiosk of Qertassi.
Finally, we tour the beautiful Temple of Philae, saved from the
rising waters of Lake Nasser by an international rescue effort and rebuilt
on its own Nile island. Fly to Abu Simbel & Overnight with dinner
at your hotel.

13 - ABU SIMBEL CAIRO -Thursday (B)
Early wake up call to watch the sunrise over the mighty temples of Ramses
the Great & Queen Nefertari. Tour the temples, before we fly back
to Cairo via Aswan, and our hotel. to the hotel : Grand Hyatt
, Cairo Conrad , Le Meridien Pyramids , Sonesta, J. W. Marriott or similar

14 - CAIRO - Friday (BL)
Morning tour of the Citadel of Saladin, the
Mohammed Ali Mosque, made of creamy alabaster
,and el-Rifai Mosque in the afternoon , your private guide will call on
you for lunch at Naguib Mahfouz restaurant then a private tour to
explore the bazaars of Kahn El-Khalili for souvenirs. (If you'd like to
spend additional days in Cairo, we'll be happy to arrange it at a reasonable
cost.)

15 - CAIRO - Departure- Saturday (B)
Our representative escorts you to Cairo's airport for your flight

This is river sailing, so do not expect any waves , no rough seas
! Your Nile cruises is actually a floating hotel that moves from place
