DAY 1 - CAIRO Start in Cairo any day , subject to cruise sailing dates
Our staff greets you at Cairo's airport and escorts you to your hotel. Private car / driver .
Visa fee is included on a comp basis only for American , Australian, NZ , Canadian, EU , Singaporean & Japanese Citizens

Visa will be issued upon arrival.
As you exit the gate, you will pass through a door or two , down some stairs , then walk for 2-5 minutes , until you pass the duty free shops, at the end of a wide corridor , you will see the security officers. There you will be met by a local representative, who will be holding a sign with the name you prefer to use for the sign .
Our local representative will then take your passport to obtain a stamp from the cashier / bank window and escort you to speak with the passport officer. He will escort you through another last check on your passport as you exit the passport control, into customs area, he will assist you in collecting your luggage and clearing customs . After exiting the terminal, our local representative will escort you (private vehicle) to the hotel.

DAY 2 - CAIRO (BLD)

We fulfill your dream of seeing the Pyramids at Giza and the Great Sphinx. If you've got the urge to ride a camel, we'll be happy to arrange it for you. It's a great photo op, with the pyramids in the background! Then we'll stop for lunch at a typical Cairene restaurant.
After lunch, have a fortune-teller predict your future from the grounds in your cup of Turkish coffee. (If you'd like to try a fortune-teller, please tell us when you reserve your tour so we can try to make the arrangements; fortune-tellers are not always available.)

In the afternoon we visit the Egyptian Museum to see the famous mummies, after which we tour the mighty hilltop Citadel of Saladin and its Alabaster Mosque.

DAY 3 - ASWAN - (BLD)
A morning flight to Aswan, where we settle in on our Nile cruiser. Welcome drink served upon arrival

Tour of the world renown Nubian Museum. Followed by a leisurely sailing on the Nile by Feluccas among the Nile's rocky islands. Return to the cruise in time for a delicious lunch.
Welcome complimentary fruit basket awaits you in your cabin.
After lunch we tour the mighty Aswan dams, old and new, then board a motor launch to visit the Temples of Philae, moved to an island and saved from the rising waters of the Nile after building the High Dam.
( A Galabia will be delivered to your cabin with our compliments), the galabia is the flowing national costume. While you are on board the cruise, afternoon tea will be served daily on deck.

DAY 4 - KOM OMBO / Edfu / Luxor - (BLD)
Our Nile vessel cruises serenely down the Nile for a visit ( Private Egyptologist) to the great twin-temple at Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile river god, and Haroeris, the solar disk. On to Edfu .

We board horse-drawn carriages (or private motor van) for the short ride through Edfu to the Temple of Horus, the best-preserved in Egypt. The evening finds us in Luxor. While you are on board the cruise, afternoon tea will be served daily on deck.

DAY 5 - LUXOR (BLD)

We cross the Nile to the West Bank of Thebes as Luxor was known , Luxor has been the Ancient Capital of Ancient Egypt for almost 20 Centuries.

We visit ( Private car/Egyptologist): Valley of the Kings including Tutankamon's tomb , the magnificent tomb-temple of Queen Hatshepsut in the Valley of the Queens, on to Queen Nefertari's Tomb:

Special announcement for 2003: Please note that Queen Nefertari's tomb is closed for urgent repairs, so we 'll be touring instead : Ancient Workers Village at Deir El Medineh.

Followed by the Colossi of Memnon, before returning to your cruise , we tour the gigantic Great Temple of Amon at Karnak and the smaller yet charming temple of Amon Ra ( Luxor Temple).

DAY 6 - Disembark - SHARM EL SHEIK (B)
Private car / driver for your transfers in Luxor & Sharm El Sheikh. We check out from the cruise after breakfast. :We fly over the Sinai peninsula to Sharm El Sheik, and head for the beach!

DAY 7 - SHARM EL SHEIK (B)
Relax! This is your day to absorb all that you've seen and experienced so far, not to mention the bright Egyptian sun and sparkling sea.

DAY 8 - SHARM EL SHEIK / Cairo (BD)
We return to Cairo by plane for a free day in the Egyptian metropolis. Private air conditioned sedan and guide at your disposal for this afternoon if you wish to do some more exploration. Evening Dinner cruise with a belly dance show - Bottled water , tea / coffee are always included.

DAY 9 - CAIRO- Khan El Khalili - Shopping Dreams - Fortune Teller - Home Hosted Dinner (BLD)
Breakfast at your hotel. Morning at leisure. We meet at your hotel late morning , proceed to Khan El Khalili legendary 12 - century district. Built by one of the Emirs and named after him . the word "Khan" means Caravanserai . With scenes that are out of "Raiders of the Lost Arc" movie set.
Lunch at El Khan or Naguib Mahfouz restaurant. For those interested and just for fun, we'll engage a local fortune - teller , knowledgeable in the mystic secrets of ancient Egypt, to read the future in your palm or your coffee grounds!

Dinner is included at a local home:
Meet the locals, you may wish to bring token gifts to exchange with the host family ( T shirt , small souvenirs of your home town):
This evening we'll venture where few ordinary visitors ever tread . . . right into the homes of some of the people of Cairo l! You'll be invited to a family dinner, and while you enjoy wholesome home-cooked specialties, you'll learn about and appreciate the outlook, aspirations, and way of life of your hosts. Be assured, as curious as you may be about your new friends, they're sure to have questions about your own background. Once the ice is broken, you'll enjoy a lively evening, and find that you have more in common than you ever suspected. Of course, you may enjoy dinner in a quiet restaurant with your travel companions, by letting us know your preferences.

DAY 10 - DEPARTURE (B)
