DAY
1 - Friday-USA (JFK) /CAIRO
DEPARTURE FROM NEW YORK We take off from New York's John F. Kennedy International
Airport, bound for Cairo. Flight choices include Egyptair non stop services
using the new Boeing 777. British Airways via London, Olympic Airways
via Athens. (Earlier departures are available in order to add extra days
in Cairo or Athens.) With a minimum of 4 guests,
you may enjoy this tour on a private basis. At no additional charges

DAY
2- Saturday -CAIRO
Our Cairo-based personnel will meet you at the airport and see you to
your hotel near the fabled Nile. You'll have time to relax. The rest of
the day is yours. Fascinating Cairo awaits you! Venture out amid the spice
shops, cafés, peddlers from bygone days, modern-day professionals, and
an unforgettable array of sights, sounds, and aromas. Visa fee is included
& issued upon arrival. Your passport must be valid for at least
6 month beyond the date of arrival. Valid
when you have an An Australian, NZ , EU , Canadian, Mexican Japanese and
US passport. Complimentary welcome Egyptian sweets platter await you upon
arrival at your hotel room.

As you exit the gate, you will pass through a door or two , down some
stairs , then walk for 2-5 minutes , until you pass the duty free shops,
at the end of a wide corridor , you will see the security officers. There
you will be met by a local representative, who will be holding a sign
with the name you prefer to use for the sign .
Our local representative will then take your passport to obtain a stamp
from the cashier / bank window and escort you to speak with the passport
officer. He will escort you through another last check on your passport
as you exit the passport control, into customs area, he will assist you
in collecting your luggage and clearing customs . After exiting the terminal,
our local representative will escort you (private vehicle) to the hotel
DAY
3 - Sunday -CAIRO - (BLD)
Today, we'll explore the wonders of the Egyptian Museum, with its treasures
of the ancient pharaohs: mummies, statuary, precious stones and metals.
Travellers have long come to Cairo just to gaze on these sights, but our
day has just started. We'll motor to the edge of Cairo, to the mysterious
Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza.
Those who are fit and adventurous enough may wish to penetrate
into the heart of the Great Pyramid, to the King's Chamber your ticket is
included with our compliments (or the interior of Kephren Pyramid). Taking
a camel ride (Included) is entirely your own choice!
Then
it's onward to the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed
Ali. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the evening, it's
all aboard! We'll settle you into your private wood-panelled sleeping
compartment on the train bound along the banks of the Nile. You'll enjoy
dinner on board , as the lights of villages reflect in the river.
DAY 4 - Monday ASWAN, CAMEL CARAVAN - (BLD)
After breakfast on board, the train arrives in Aswan, where we'll settle
you into your cabin onboard the M/S Royal Cleopatra's Yacht.
Fruit basket awaits you at your cabin, with our compliments.
We start our tour with the world famous Nubian Museum. Try your
hand at camel riding! We'll take willing passengers on a traditional caravan
to enjoy tea with Nubian villagers. This is a unique opportunity to meet
and interact with local people. We are proud to offer this insight into
the Nubian way of life. We
sail for El Balouly Island , watch sunset as we sip tea on deck. Dinner
follows, then to bed, with the ripples of the Nile gently rocking you
to sleep. Free

DAY 5 -
KOM OMBO- Tuesday (BLD)
Set sail in the Royal Cleopatra, headed for Kom Ombo. We visit its twin
temple dedicated to the crocodile god of the Nile, then relax on board
as we sail to Maneha for lunch. The evening finds us at fares island and
dinner. One complimentary bottle of water for each guest.

6 Cruising the Nile -Wednesday (BLD)
Breakfast on board. Enjoy another grand day of sailing on the Nile
watching villages & scenery that changed little since Biblical times.
Lunch at Selwa. Get ready for a galabya costume party, (a galabya will
be delivered to your cabin with our compliments), a native barbecue dinner
will be served on a small islands in the river .

Day
7 EDFU & ESNA -Thursday (B)
We dock in Edfu, climb aboard horse-drawn carriages, and clip-clop through
the town to the Temple of Horus, Egypt's best preserved. Returning to
the Royal Cleopatra, we sail for Esna, where we head for its Ancient temple
in the middle of the town's square. Dinner and overnight on board. One
complimentary bottle of water for each guest.
Day
8 LUXOR / CAIRO -Friday (BLD)
We bid farewell to the crew, check out, then we switch transportation
modes to get a closer look at life along the riverbank, making our way
to Luxor by car. We tour the magnificent tombs in the Valley of the Kings
and Valley of the Queens, including the great temple of Queen Hatshepsut,
stopping also at the Colossi of Memnon before heading back to our hotel
for lunch . In the afternoon we stand in awe before the gigantic Great
Temple of Amon at Karnak, and the mighty Temple of Luxor. With these vivid
impressions in mind, we proceed
for our evening
transfer to board the overnight sleeper train back to Cairo, dinner is
served on board.
DAY 9 - CAIRO - Saturday(BD)
Morning arrival, our local rep will escort you to your hotel. Breakfast
will be served at the hotel. You'll make your own program for your last
full day in Cairo. Perhaps you'll do some shopping at the fabulous Khan
El-Khalili bazaar, or return to the fabulous Pyramids, or take an optional
tour, or spend the day with new friends. Don't miss your chance to mingle
with the crowds, the peddlers, and the street entertainers who give life
to Cairo! Evening farewell dinner with folk & Belly Dance.
DAY 10 - DEPARTURE FOR HOME -Sunday (B)
After
breakfast, our staff will see you to the airport and assist you with all
the formalities before you board your flight for home. You'll arrive the
same day. Bon Voyage!

conditions on the Nile. We will do our best to follow published itineraries,
but they must be considered tentative in all cases. We reserve the right
to modify or cancel any sailing itinerary as conditions warrant. In case
of insufficient wind, weather danger or difficult riverine traffic conditions
on the Nile or through the Nile locks, or other cause of cancellation,
we reserve the right to accommodate Royal Cleopatra passengers aboard
a deluxe Nile cruise vessel, and / or to transport passengers between
some sites by motor vehicle along the Nile, to be able to keep up with
the itinerary , at our option.
