Day 1- CAIRO- Arrive any day ( year round)
Upon landing in Cairo, our local rep. meets you, assists with entry formalities, and whisks you downtown to your hotel. Transfers are always with a private chauffeur / private air-conditioned vehicle and private escort. The rest of the day is yours to get a glimpse of this great, timeless city on the Nile. The Egyptian visa may be issued for a limited number of nationalities such as : for American, Australian , NZ, EU , Canadian, Mexican and Japanese citizens. Passports must be valid for at least 6 month upon arrival). Please pay the visa fee $ 15 upon arrival in cash. After exiting the terminal, our local representative will escort you (private vehicle) to the hotel

DAY 2 - CAIRO  (BL)
We start this morning with the best of Cairo: the Egyptian Museum, including the Mummies room and King Tut's Golden Treasures room , after lunch at a charming local Restaurant, we head for the Citadel of Saladin and its Alabaster Mosque, el-Rifai Mosque before we wander through the alleys of Khan el-Khalili bazaar in search of souvenirs. DAY 3 - Cairo - ASWAN (B)
After an early breakfast we fly to Aswan , air fare is included in economy class, tax included
From the airport we proceed this morning to visit the dams at Aswan, including the High Dam, a modern wonder in this ancient land. At the ancient granite quarry, we'll see an obelisk left unfinished

You may have seen already by now feluccas sailing the Nile. Now we'll experience Egypt at its most authentic, as we sail in one of these graceful craft. Then its siesta time by the pool.

In the afternoon board a launch on Lake Nasser to visit the Temples of Philae, rescued from rising waters. Evening Sound & Light show at Philae

DAY 4 - Aswan / ABU SIMBEL / Luxor (B. Lunch Box )
Private air-conditioned vehicle, private chauffeur, private guide, even in Abu Simbel , we fly over Lake Nasser, watching the sky lighten and the sacred sun rise above the horizon. We reach the great temples where your private car , driver and guide await you . In the larger temple, colossal figures of Ramses are seated with the gods and attended by his queen and daughters. The smaller temple is dedicated to Queen Nefertari, who appears as Hathor, the goddess of love, joy and fertility, symbolized by the benevolent cow. We explore these fine temple , after which we fly back to Aswan and connect to Luxor and your hotel .

DAY 5 - LUXOR (BL)

After breakfast, we will proceed to cross to the west bank of the Nile , today's tour includes :

Deir El Medinah is on Luxor's west bank you get a totally different perspective on ancient Egyptian life, at the ancient workers' settlement of Deir el-Medinah. While most of the imposing stone monuments and sites of Egypt honor the lives and after-lives of royalty, Deir el-Medinah gives us unique and surprising insights into the ordinary citizens who constructed and decorated the tombs.

Here we'll see the excavated homes shared by laborers with their domestic animals. These quarters were surprisingly large, with three good-sized rooms, courtyard, kitchen, and even storage cellars. While ancient Egypt might not have been a workers' paradise, we'll see that artisans and builders were highly regarded in their community. We are proud to be the only operator to offer regular visits to this singular ancient settlement in its tour and cruise programs.

Today's tour include as well a visit to the Valley of the Kings including Tut-Ank-Amon's tomb , temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, and Colossi of Memnon, returning to one of the deluxe hotels or Nile cruiser for lunch. Following lunch , we visit the great Temple of Luxor, and the gigantic Great Temple of Amon at Karnak, returning to Luxor Airport to board your flight back to Cairo & your hotel.

DAY 6 - CAIRO - Giza (BL)
In the morning, we visit the majestic pyramids of Giza, the Valley Temple and the timeless Sphinx. Those who are fit and adventurous enough may wish to penetrate into the heart of the Great Pyramid, to the King's Chamber your ticket is included with our compliments (or the interior of Kephren Pyramid). Taking a camel ride (Included) is entirely your own choice!

After lunch we tour Memphis and Sakkara , including : the Step Pyramid ( Zoser Pyramid), the Nobles Mastabas, and the small yet charming Imhotep Museum.

DAY 7 - AMMAN -JORDAN (B)
After breakfast, our staff escorts you to the airport for your flight to Jordan ( Air ticket included in our rate, in economy class with tax ). All transfers are always included and are provided on a private basis.
We'll pick you up from Queen Alia Airport , proceed to Amman for check-in and overnight at your hotel .
Complimentary visa issued upon arrival at Amman Airport, valid only for Australian, NZ, Canadian, EU citizens , American , Singaporean & Japanese citizens. DAY 8 - PETRA (BL)
Mt. Nebo - Madaba - Jerash - Petra : We head south in our private air conditioned sedan . On to Mt. Nebo! Then we'll continue to Madaba and visit the site of the oldest map of the Holy Land, St. George's Cathedral, and Jerash, the best preserved Roman City of the East. On to Petra with lunch served ( Included) enroute at a local restaurant. Reach Petra late afternoon , check-in and overnight at the hotel. For deluxe : the Petra Mövenpick , Marriott hotel , Taybet Zaman or similar Deluxe hotels, for First Class : Golden Tulip or similar

DAY 9 - PETRA - Amman (BL)
A full day tour of Jordan's most famous site, the rose-red city of Petra. Venture through the Siq (the gorge between two towering mountains) until you reach the treasury which, like the most of the structures at Petra, is carved into the rose-red Nubian sandstone. In the afternoon, drive back to Amman for an overnight

DAY 10 - Departure - Fly out or to King Hussein Crossing Border Point (B)
We escort you back to Queen Alia's Airport . Jordanian Departure tax is included in our rate. End of our service Bon Voyage ( we'll be glad to assist with any extra nights in Petra).Guests going on to Jerusalem need cross the King Hussein before noon ( closed during holidays/ Jewish Sabbath/ Moslem Friday's noon prayer ).

For guests continuing on to Syria with us. You will continue on to The Syrian border on Day 8 , visit Bosra before continuing to Damascus. Or if you are touring Syria on your own, we'll be glad to arrange for the transfer to Bosra in Syria ( Supplement $165 per person, minimum 2 guests, private car/driver to Bosra)
