DAY 1 - PARIS - Sunday
Tour starts any day in Paris . Arrival in Paris! our staff will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel, centrally located near the Champs-Elysées. Drop your luggage, grab your Lonely Planet guidebook (we'll give you a copy of the Paris guide at no extra charge), and head out into the City of Light. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you please: strolling the boulevards, watching boats on the Seine, shopping in the markets and boutiques, or people-watching in a cozy cafe.

Day 2- Paris -Monday (B)
Enjoy full day at leisure. The City is yours with our complimentary guide book at hand.

DAY 3 - PARIS- Tuesday (B)
Come with us on a half-day panoramic motorcoach tour of the city. We'll stop by the Place de l'Opera, Place de la Concorde, Champs-Elysées, Arch de Triomphe, Trocadero, Eiffel Tower (tickets to the first level), Le Bastille and Notre Dame. Then we'll take a short cruise on the Seine before we let you go to find your own favorite Parisian haunts, led there by your Lonely Planet guidebook.

Day 4 - PARIS TO CAIRO- Wednesday (B)
After breakfast, we escort you to the airport to catch your nonstop EgyptAir flight to Cairo. Air fare is included in our rate. During the flight, study your Lonely Planet guidebook to Egypt, which we present to you with our compliments. Upon landing in Cairo, our staff meets you, assists with entry formalities, and whisks you downtown to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to get a glimpse of this great, timeless city on the Nile, the "Paris of Africa."

The Egyptian visa may be issued for a limited number of nationalities such as : for American, Australian , NZ, EU , Canadian, Mexican and Japanese citizens. Passports must be valid for at least 6 month upon arrival). Please pay the visa fee $ 15 upon arrival in cash. After exiting the terminal, our local representative will escort you (private vehicle) to the hotel

DAY 5 - CAIRO HOME HOSTED DINNER- Thursday (cBLD)
We start with the best of Cairo: the Egyptian Museum, Royal Manial Palace of Egypt's last Crown Prince : Mohamed Ali", Citadel of Saladin and its Alabaster Mosque. After lunch at a local Restaurant, we walk the narrow streets of Old Cairo, once a Roman fort, later the Jewish Quarter, then the Coptic Christian Quarter. We visit the Coptic churches of Abu Serghius and Al Molaka, the Coptic Museum, and Ben Ezra synagogue.

This evening we'll venture where few ordinary visitors ever tread . . . right into the homes of some of the people of Cairo l! You'll be invited to a family dinner, and while you enjoy wholesome home-cooked specialties, you'll learn about and appreciate the outlook, aspirations, and way of life of your hosts. Be assured, as curious as you may be about your new friends, they're sure to have questions about your own background. Once the ice is broken, you'll enjoy a lively evening, and find that you have more in common than you ever suspected. Of course, you may enjoy dinner in a quiet restaurant with your travel companions, by letting us know your preferences.

DAY 6 - CAIRO - Friday (cBLD)
In the morning, we visit the majestic pyramids of Giza, the Valley Temple and the timeless Sphinx.
Those who are fit and adventurous enough may wish to penetrate into the heart of the Great Pyramid, to the King's Chamber your ticket is included with our compliments (or the interior of Kephren Pyramid). Taking a camel ride (Included) is entirely your own choice!

After lunch we drive to Dahshour, the newly-opened pyramid field south of Cairo. We visit several ancient structures, including the great pyramid built by Senfru, father of Cheops. In the evening, we board our first-class sleeper train. Dinner is served in our private compartments as we speed southward along the banks of the Nile.

DAY 7 - Luxor - Saturday (cBLD)
We leave our train for breakfast in a luxury hotel, after which we cross the Nile by ferry to visit the Valley of the Kings and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch in Luxor, we tour the Great Temple of Amon at Karnak, and visit the Sacred Lake . We have a quick look at the great temple of Amon Ra at Luxor on our way to the airport for our flight back to Cairo, and our hotel.

DAY 8 - AMMAN - Jordan - Sunday (cB)
After breakfast, our staff escorts you to the airport for your flight to Jordan ( Air ticket included in our rate). We'll pick you up from Queen Alia Airport , proceed to Amman for check-in and overnight at your hotel .
Complimentary visa issued upon arrival at Amman Airport, valid only for Australian, NZ, Canadian, Western Europeans , American & Japanese citizens. Passports must be valid for 6 month at least at time of arrival.

DAY 9 - PETRA - Monday (BL)
After breakfast we head for Jerash, the best preserved Roman City of the East. In the late afternoon we proceed to Petra for check-in and overnight at your hotel . Lunch enroute.

DAY 10 - PETRA - Tuesday (BL)
A full day tour of Jordan's most famous site, the rose-red city of Petra. Venture through the Siq (the gorge between two towering mountains) until you reach the treasury which, like the most of the structures at Petra, is carved into the rose-red Nubian sandstone. In the afternoon, drive back to Amman for an overnight

DAY 11 - PARIS - Wednesday (cB)
We escort you back to Queen Alia's Airport, for your flight back to Paris. End of our service ( we'll be glad to assist with any extra night in Paris or Petra). Bon Voyage.

For those continuing on to Syria with us. You will continue on to The Syrian border on Day 10 , visit Bosra before continuing to Damascus. Or if you are touring Syria on your own, we'll be glad to arrange for the transfer to Bosra in Syria ( Supplement $65 per person, minimum 2 guests, private car/driver to Bosra). Bon Voyage
