1^st Day: ITALY/CAIRO : Saturday & Tuesday

Departure from Italy with a scheduled flight and arrival to the International Airport of Cairo. Meeting with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Visa fee issued upon arrival for American, Australian, Brazilian , NZ,EU, S. Korean , Mexicans, Singaporean , South African & Japanese citizens, passport must be valid for at least 6 month after the date of arrival.

Visa will be issued upon arrival.
As you exit the gate, you will pass through a door or two , down some stairs , then walk for 2-5 minutes , until you pass the duty free shops, at the end of a wide corridor , you will see the security officers. There you will be met by a local representative, who will be holding a sign with the name you prefer to use for the sign . Our local representative will then take your passport to obtain a stamp from the cashier / bank window and escort you to speak with the passport officer. He will escort you through another last check on your passport as you exit the passport control, into customs area, he will assist you in collecting your luggage and clearing customs . After exiting the terminal, our local representative will escort you (private vehicle) to the hotel

 

 

2^nd Day: Cairo / Aswan/ Kom Ombo / Edfu : Sunday & Wednesday

Full board. Leaving with the scheduled flight for Aswan and on to your deluxe Nile Cruise . We have the possibility to go by plane on an optional excursion to Abu Simbel : Additional 140 Euro .
Visit to the Great Dam, to an ancient granite quarry complete with the unfinished obelisk and to the Philae Temple, a Ptolemaic building dedicated to Isis. In the afternoon we start to navigate toward Kom Ombo for visiting the Sobek Temple. Our cruise continues toward Edfu. Overnight on board.

 

3^rd Day: EDFU/ESNA/LUXOR : Monday & Thursday

Full board. In the morning we make a tour of the Horus Temple. We start to navigate toward Esna. We go through the locks and continue toward Luxor. Overnight on board.

 

 

4^th Day: LUXOR : Tuesday & Friday

Full board. We spend all morning on tour of Thebes Necropolis: the Valley of the Kings and the Queens, the Colossi of Memnon, the Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir El Bahari.

The afternoon at leisure for tours at your own or relax. Overnight on board.

 

 

5^th Day: LUXOR : Wednesday & Saturday

Breakfast and leaving for a tour of the temples of Luxor and Karnak. After lunch, transfer to the hotel and accommodation in the reserved rooms. Dinner and overnight stay.

 

 

6^th Day: LUXOR/CAIRO : Thursday & Sunday

Transfer to the airport for a scheduled flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, tour of the Pyramids, the Sphinx, the ancient capital city of Memphis and the Necropolis of Sakkara including the terraced Pyramid of Zoser. Lunch in a typical restaurant. At the end of the tour, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

 

7^th Day: CAIRO : Friday & Monday

Breakfast at the hotel. The all day is dedicated to the tour of Egyptian Museum, of the town with its Mosques of Mohamed Ali and Ibn el Qalawn, stop at the Bazaar of Kan El Khalili. Lunch in a typical restaurant. At the end of the tour, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

 

8^th Day: CAIRO : Saturday & Tuesday

After breakfast, enjoy your day as you wish with your guidebook in hand. Dinner is included at the hotel

 

Day 9 : WADI EL RAYAN/BAHARIA : Sunday & Wednesday

Full board. Leaving for visiting Wadi el Rayan. Afterward, we go trough the desert to the Oasis of Bahariya. We stop at the spring of Ghaba for a relaxing bath. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 10 : BAHARIA / SIWA : Monday & Thursday

Full board. In the morning we visit the old city called Qasr, the Museum of the Golden Mummies, well-known because of their recent discovery, the Black Mountains; the we stop at the colorful market where locals offer the produce of the land and their handicrafts.   Afterward, we go trough the desert to the Oasis of Siwa (420 km.). Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 11 : SIWA : Tuesday & Friday

Full board. The full day is dedicated to visit Siwa and the Pharaonic Temple of Amon and the famous Dead Mountain of Dakroury, the pool of Cleopatra .Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 12 : SIWA/FARAFRA : Wednesday & Saturday

Full board. We leave for Farafra trough the great sea of sand with its spectacular view of dunes. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Da 13 : FARAFRA/WHITE DESERT/ FARAFRA : Thursday & Sunday

The morning is spent on exploring the little oasis surrounded almost entirely by walls that gives shelter to around a thousand of inhabitants. Then tour of the little local museum and the old city. Afterward, we continue through the white desert, where you can admire the spectacular rocks eroded by the wind and shaped as mushrooms and animals. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 14 : WHITE DESERT/CAIRO : Friday & Monday

Breakfast and leaving for Cairo trough the desert. We stop to admire the Crystal Mountain. Upon arrival to Cairo, we accommodate at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

 

 

Day 15 : CAIRO/ITALY : Saturday & Tuesday

After breakfast, transfer to the airport of Cairo for your scheduled flight to Italy with Egyptian Airlines.

DRESS CODE :

All of our Nile cruise vessels are fully air conditioned. Onboard dress is casual except at dinner, when smart casual is the rule. Lightweight cotton and other natural fiber clothing is best, with swimsuits and sun hats for the sundeck and pool. Bring a light sweater or light jacket for cool mornings and evenings, but most days are warm to hot, with very little rain. Comfortable walking shoes are essential for shore excursions.

What to Pack:
Most of the year look forward to warm, even hot weather in Cairo , Luxor & Aswan, morning & evenings are cooler. During Winter ... very rare do we get rain, if so , very brief showers. No need for real rain wear/gear.
Before sunrise , after sun-set , you'll need a light jacket , or light sweater .

For Nile cruise shore excursions, we suggest comfortable cotton & natural fabric lightweight clothing.

Comfortable walking shoes are essential for all tours in Cairo or Upper Egypt.

Lightweight comfortable & casual clothing. Swimsuits, sun hat.
Dining room dress code is casual for breakfast & lunch, but smart casual for dinner. Please do not wear swimsuits into the dining room. All ships are fully air conditioned
