1^st Day: ITALY/LUXOR

Departure from Italy with a scheduled flight and arrival to the International Airport of Luxor. We meet our Tour Director and transfer to embark our deluxe Nile cruise, dinner and overnight on board.
Visa fee issued upon arrival for American, Australian, Brazilian , NZ,EU, S. Korean ,S. African Mexicans, Singaporean , South African & Japanese citizens, passport must be valid for at least 6 month after the date of arrival. Welcome fruit basket awaits you in your cabin.

Visa will be issued upon arrival.
As you exit the gate, you will pass through a door or two , down some stairs , then walk for 2-5 minutes , until you pass the duty free shops, at the end of a wide corridor , you will see the security officers. There you will be met by a local representative, who will be holding a sign with the name you prefer to use for the sign . Our local representative will then take your passport to obtain a stamp from the cashier / bank window and escort you to speak with the passport officer. He will escort you through another last check on your passport as you exit the passport control, into customs area, he will assist you in collecting your luggage and clearing customs . After exiting the terminal, our local representative will escort you (private vehicle) to the hotel

 

 

2^nd Day: Luxor / Tour Esna Temple

Full board. We spend all morning on tour of Thebes Necropolis: the Valley of the Kings and the Queens, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir El Bahari. Then we sail for Esna. Special tour for our customers to the unique Esna Temple, preserved for centuries buried underneath the village main square until the late 30's.
Overnight on board your Nile Cruise.

 

3^rd Day: EDFU/ KOM OMBO/ Aswan

Full board. In the morning we leave for Edfu for a tour of the Horus Temple. Afterward, we continue toward Kom Ombo. We re-embark and continue sailing toward Aswan. Overnight on board.

 

4^th Day: Aswan

Full board. In the morning we have the option to make an excursion by plane to Abu Simbel. In the afternoon we make a tour by felucca of elephantine Island, its botanic garden s and the Agha Khan Mausoleum.  Overnight on board.

 

5^th Day: Aswan/KOM OMBO/ EDFU

Full board. In the morning we visit with our guide the Great Dam, an ancient granite quarry complete with an unfinished obelisk and the Philae Temple, a Ptolemaic building dedicated to Isis. In the afternoon we cruise toward Kom Ombo for a visit to the Sobek Temple. Our cruise continues toward Edfu. Overnight on board.

 

6^th Day: ESNA/LUXOR

Full board. We navigate toward Esna, going through the locks and continue sailing to Luxor. Overnight on board.

 

7^th Day: LUXOR

Full board. In the morning leaving for a tour of the temples of Luxor and Karnak.

Afternoon by your own for individual tours or relax. Overnight on board.

 

8^th Day: LUXOR/CAIRO

Breakfast and transfer to the airport for a scheduled flight to Cairo with Egyptian Airlines. Upon arrival, we meet our representative and we transfer to the hotel to accommodate in the reserved rooms. Dinner and overnight stay.

 

9^th Day: CAIRO

After breakfast at the hotel, we leave for a whole day tour to Cairo and visit at the Pyramids, the Sphinx, the ancient capital city of Memphis and the Necropolis of Sakkara, including the terraced Pyramid of Zoser. Lunch in a typical restaurant. At the end of the tour, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

 

10^th Day: CAIRO

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day is dedicated to the tour of the Egyptian Museum, of the Citadel with the Mosques of Mohamed Ali and of Ibn el Qalawn, with a stop at the Bazaar of Kan El Khalili. Lunch at a typical restaurant. At the end, we return to the hotel for a dinner and overnight stay.

 

11^th Day: CAIRO/ITALY

After breakfast, transfer to the International Airport of Cairo for your scheduled flight back to Italy

DRESS CODE :

All of our Nile cruise vessels are fully air conditioned. Onboard dress is casual except at dinner, when smart casual is the rule. Lightweight cotton and other natural fiber clothing is best, with swimsuits and sun hats for the sundeck and pool. Bring a light sweater or light jacket for cool mornings and evenings, but most days are warm to hot, with very little rain. Comfortable walking shoes are essential for shore excursions.

 

 

What to Pack:
Most of the year look forward to warm, even hot weather in Cairo , Luxor & Aswan, morning & evenings are cooler. During Winter ... very rare do we get rain, if so , very brief showers. No need for real rain wear/gear.
Before sunrise , after sun-set , you'll need a light jacket , or light sweater .

For Nile cruise shore excursions, we suggest comfortable cotton & natural fabric lightweight clothing.

Comfortable walking shoes are essential for all tours in Cairo or Upper Egypt.

Lightweight comfortable & casual clothing. Swimsuits, sun hat.
Dining room dress code is casual for breakfast & lunch, but smart casual for dinner. Please do not wear swimsuits into the dining room. All ships are fully air conditioned
