Visitaremos el centro histórico de Corfú, construido por los venecianos hace más de 400 años entre dos fortalezas. La ciudad es un laberinto de calles empedradas llamadas “Kantonia”. Paseando por las calles de la vieja ciudad admiraremos entre otros los monumentos: Palacio Real de San Jorge y San Miguel, Plaza de Listón y la iglesia de San Spirindon. Posteriormente nos trasladaremos a la Bahía de Paleokastritsa, conocida como la Capri Griega. Tienen libre para tomar baño en sus aguas cristalinas. Duración aproximada: 4 horas.

Tradition identifies Corfu as the Homeric Island of Scheria or the island where the Phaeacians hospitably received Odysseus on his return from Troy. The Phaeacians finally surrendered of their own accord to the Romans in 229 BC. Roman, Venetian, French and British rulers have left their influence in the history, culture and monuments of the island.. From Liston esplanade we can start a walk through the old city and admire the Royal Palace of St. George & St. Michael and St. Spiridon Church the beloved patron saint of Corfu. Afterward, driving to the Northwest we will reach Paleokastritsa beach, “the Greek Capri” with the possibility of taking a bath in its crystalline water.

En esta hermosa villa situada en el centro de la Isla, se encuentra el edificio más famoso de Corfú, el Palacio de Achillion, construido en 1891 por la Emperatriz Elizabeth de Austria, obsesionada por el héroe griego Achilles, donde podemos contemplar el maravilloso jardín del Palacio. En Corfú, el autocar nos dejará enfrente de la fortaleza Veneciana, y de la famosa Plaza Espinada, desde donde se iniciará la visita a pie. Destacamos los monumentos: Palacio de San Jorge y San Michael, la Plaza Liston, la Iglesia de San Spiridon.
