1- Amman Arrive - Tuesday - Weekly arrival . Year Round :
We'll
pick you up from Queen Alia Airport . Visa Fee is included & issued
upon arrival for : Americans, Canadians, EU citizens, Australians, NZ,
And Japanese. Our local rep will meet you , assist with your visa and
then proceed to Amman for check-in and overnight at the hotel of
your choice. ( Complimentary local sweets & bottled water : one large
bottle for each guest)
Day
2 - Mt. Nebo - Madaba - Jerash - Petra - Wednesday : (BLD)
We
head south in our private air conditioned sedan . On to Mt. Nebo!
Then we'll continue to Madaba and visit the site of the oldest
map of the Holy Land, St. George's Cathedral, and Jerash,
the best preserved Roman City of the East.
On to Petra with lunch served ( Included) enroute at a local restaurant.
Reach Petra late afternoon , check-in and overnight at the hotel of your
choice.

Dine as a local : The Petra Kitchen is a delightful way to round out your
Jordan travel experiences. Like any home kitchen, The Petra Kitchen is
a relaxed, informal atmosphere where you’ll gather to prepare an
evening meal, working alongside local women under the supervision of our
chef.
Each evening meal includes soup, cold and hot mezza ( appetizers ) and salads, and a main course—all typical Jordanian dishes. You will have get an inside glimpse of the secrets behind the famous regional cuisine of the Levant.
The Petra Kitchen offers an evening of learning, fun and a very special dining experience, with each dish gaining the special flavor of a reward well-earned. Great care has been taken to make The Petra Kitchen a truly Jordanian experience—right down to the furnishings, all crafted in Jordan, the tableware, all produced by the Iraq al Amir Women’s Co-operative, and the aprons and table linens, all hand-embroidered by the Jordan River Foundation.
Tour experience tonight includes the cuisine course, meal and all non-alcoholic beverages as well as take-home recipes for all dishes prepared that evening.

3 - Petra - Dead Sea -Thursday : (BL)
A full day tour of Jordan's most famous site, the rose-red city of Petra.
Venture through the Siq (the gorge between two towering mountains)
until you reach the treasury which, like the most of the structures
at Petra, is carved into the rose-red sandstone. In the afternoon, drive
back north the Dead Sea and overnight at one of the Dead Sea resorts .

4 - Amman
/ CAIRO -Friday

After breakfast , we escort you back to Queen Alia's
Airport, fly back to Egypt. air is included in economy class, tax included
, Jordanian Departure tax is included in our rate.
Our local representative greets you at the airport and whisks you to your
hotel. Visa fee is included and will be issued upon arrival at Cairo Airport
for : Australian, NZ, American, EU , Canadian, Singaporean , Korean &
Japanese citizens. You are responsible for having your passport in order
valid at least for 6 month beyond the date of your arrival in Cairo. Dinner
is included at the hotel
Visa
will be issued upon arrival. As you exit the gate, you will pass
through a door or two , down some stairs , then walk for 2-5 minutes ,
until you pass the duty free shops, at the end of a wide corridor , you
will see the security officers. There you will be met by a local representative,
who will be holding a sign with the name you prefer to use for the sign
. Our local representative will then take your passport to obtain a stamp
from the cashier / bank window and escort you to speak with the passport
officer. He will escort you through another last check on your passport
as you exit the passport control, into customs area, he will assist you
in collecting your luggage and clearing customs . After exiting the terminal,
our local representative will escort you (private vehicle) to the hotel

DAY
5 - CAIRO- Saturday (BLD)
On your first full day in Egypt we show you the Egyptian Museum,
including the Mummies room and King Tut's gold tteasure room , then off
to tour Saladin's Citadel, Sultan Hassan Madrassa and the Alabaster Mosque.
Lunch is included at Hadaik El-Azhar or Naguib Mahfouz local restaurant.
We conclude the day with a leisure walk through the medieval part of Cairo
, Khan El Khan El-Khalili bazaar district and the restored Muez LedeenAllah
Street . Dinner is included at Zeitouni restaurant at the Four Seasons.
DAY
6 -- Giza - Sunday (BLD)
Today we drive to the edge of Cairo and into the Giza desert , tour the
Pyramids of Giza, Cheops Royal Bareg Museum and the Sphinx,
then break for lunch at the famous Mena House Oberoi.
The afternoon is devoted to Memphis , Sakkara , the Step Pyramid, the
Nobles Mastabas and Imhotep museum. Briefstop at El-Harania before we
head back to the hotel. Get ready for dinner at La Bodega or Abu El- Sid
local restaurant.
DAY
7 - ASWAN, Camel Caravan! Monday (BLD)
We fly to Aswan and board our Nile cruiser in time for a delicious
lunch. Complimentary welcome fruit basket awaits you in your cabin. In
the afternoon we enjoy a leisurely sail by graceful felucca on the Nile.
Only for those who are interested: a short camel caravan & ride for
almost half an hour to visit a local Nubian Village.
In the evening your guide will call on you for a private horse drawn carriage
ride throughout Aswan and the water front.
DAY
8 - ASWAN - KOM OMBO Tuesday (BLD)
First we tour new Nubian Museum then the awesome Aswan dams, and
next an ancient granite quarry complete with an unfinished obelisk. Then
we go by motor launch to the island temples of Philae. Re-embarking
on our Nile cruiser, we sail downstream to Kom Ombo to visit its
twin temples.
DAY
9 - EDFU - ESNA - Wednesday (BLD)
We moor in Edfu, climb aboard horse-drawn carriages, and clip-clop
through the town to the Temple of Horus, Egypt's best-preserved
temple. Re-embarking, we cruise to Esna and its great temple dedicated
to Khnum, the creator-god. Evening finds us in Luxor.
DAY
1- - LUXOR- Thursday (BLD)
We
tour today the magnificent tombs in the Valley of the Kings and
the great temple of Queen Hatshepsut, we
stop at the Colossi of Memnon on the way back to our cruise.
DAY
11 - LUXOR - CAIRO - Friday (BLD)
The gigantic Great Temple of Amon at Karnak, and the mighty Temple
of Luxor are our goals in the morning, followed by a return flight
to Cairo. In the afternoon, wander through the city on your own,
or do your last-minute shopping. Lunch in Luxor or Cairo depending on
the flight confirmation. Dinner is included at the hotel in Cairo .
Day 12 - Saturday -- CAIRO - Johannesburg, South Africa
Our
representative escorts you to the airport for your
Egyptair flight very early in the morning.
Arrive Johannesburg in AM. You're transferred to
Mount Grace Hotel, one of the finest country hotels in South Africa. Set
in hills surrounding Rietpoort Valley, it is home to abundant bird life,
cascading waterfall, stone-age relics, and a 400-year-old olive tree.
Guests are welcomed with tasteful furnishings and impeccable service.

Board morning safari flight to Johannesburg and connect with onward
flight to Cape Town. On arrival, you are transferred to the Radisson Granger

Day 17 - Thursday -- Cape Point / Peninsula Tour
Travel coastal road that hugs the cold Atlantic Ocean to Hout Bay, a former fishing community that is a popular residential area. But it still retains charm of days past. Continue south to Cape Point in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where the Atlantic and the Indian oceans meet. Return along the Indian Ocean coast road. Visit a colony of penguins at Boulders Beach. Drive through Simonstown naval base to Kalk Bay. Visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, one of Africa's finest gardens. Radisson Granger Bay Hotel (BL)
