General Information
The Kruger Park was formed in 1898 and is just less than 2 million hectares. The Big 5 are regularly seen.
It has over 500 Bird Species, 147 Mammal Species, 7 Major River Systems and 35 different landscapes from River Forest to Open Dry Savannah.
The Kruger Park is vast and boasts larger herds of Buffalo, Elephants and Antelope species that can be found crossing the road in front of you. Kruger Park is natural, a landscape that has not been touched for decades.
For this reason game viewing is restricted to roads to keep this vast landscape un spoilt and our wilderness areas protected. Sit back and enjoy this vast landscape teaming with Wildlife from the smallest insect to the largest mammal the elephant.
Enjoy the views of game from the luxury of your Open Safari Vehicle allowing you vast views over this wonderful park. Accommodation, good food, and the companionship, of your knowledgeable guide, who is with you throughout your stay in the park.
ACCOMMODATION:
Accommodation is in grass, roofed bungalows at one of the 12 camps
found inside the Kruger National Park. We mainly
concentrate on the Central and Northern Regions, due to the abundant
herds of Buffalo, Elephant, Antelope as well as the not so common
species the Eland and Roan antelope found in the north.
The central region also boasts one of the larger prides of lions. The camps we frequent are Mopani, Letaba, Olifants and Satara. However our camps do change from time to time due to availability.
The rooms are very clean with two to four single beds, clean linen,
bath towels and soap are provided. All units have air conditioning
and 220 volt electricity and plug points. Each bungalow has its own
shower, toilet and hand basin for your convenience.
The camps have a Shop, Cafeteria, Restaurant, Night Wildlife Film Shows and Filling Stations and are all, electric fenced for your safety.
Exciting game drives are conducted in our 4x4 open vehicles seating a maximum of 10. Our vehicles give you height for that perfect photo opportunity. Game drives leave just after sunrise with breakfast enjoyed at one of our restaurants, before returning to camp at midday for an afternoon rest or just to relax around the pool.
(In winter we prefer to stay out all day and visit the central regions of the Kruger Park). We depart again late afternoon arriving back at camp at sunset for a shower before dinner.
Kruger National Park Cuisine :
BREAKFAST : A buffet or set menu, selection of cereals, yogurts,
muffins, scones, Eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, baked beans, toast
and preserves. Pastries, Cold Cuts, and a selection of cheeses, fruit
juices, tea, coffee.
LUNCH: Not included. But available from the Kruger Park restaurants and Cafeteria.
DINNER : Buffet or Set Menu, offering a hot or cold starter,
salads, and bread rolls. Various meats, chicken, fish and a selection
of vegetable dishes. Desserts, various Hot and Cold dishes, cheese
and biscuits at certain Restaurants.

An evening African Barbeque, under the African Stars : $56 USD per person:
Enjoy an evening Barbeque, prepared by your chef, under the African Sky. Enjoy a bottle of complimentary red wine with your meal of two different meats and roast vegetables and two salads . Traditional maize porridge served with seshebo (Sauce) followed by dessert ,all served under the African stars, with interesting tales told by your guide. Enjoy a night cap of Creamed Sherry or Amarula Cream to end the evening around the campfire, before turning in for the evening.
Thre Day Private Car - Kruger Safari
Day One:
Collection by your guide from either your Hotel, Guest House, Backpacker hostel or Airport at 08h00am we make our way through to the Kruger National Park passing rolling fields and Coal Mines en-route towards Belfast, Dullstroom , Lydenberg and Ohrigstad towards the town of Phalaborwa and the Kruger National Park, stopping en- route for bathroom stops and lunch.
After lunch we make our way into the Kruger national park and on towards the camp of Letaba which is home for the next two nights.
After check in have time to relax or take a walk around the elephant
museum, before return to your campsite for dinner. Tonight enjoy a
Barbeque under the stars prepared by your guide, while sitting around
the camp fire discussing the events of the day.
Accommodation is in comfortable safari tents with comfortable single beds with linen. Bath towels and soap. Communal Ablutions consist of Showers, toilets and Baths.
Day Two:
This morning after an early wake up call by your guide at 05h00am enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits, before departing from your camp to enjoy a days game viewing, We make our way to Olifants Camp for breakfast, after which we continue hoping to spot as many animals as possible.
We return to camp late afternoon in time for you to hop onto an open Safari vehicle and enjoy a sunset drive. Returning early evening to enjoy a traditional South African Potjie prepared by your guide,
Day Three:
After an early morning wake up call by your guide we embark on a short morning drive before returning to camp for breakfast. After breakfast time to pack up and make our way out of the Kruger national park and return to Johannesburg arriving mid to late afternoon.

Three Kruger Park Economy Safari
Day One:
Collection from either your hotel , guest house or airport by your guide at 07h00am in the morning. We depart for the highlands of Mpumalanga passing fields of corn, cattle, sheep and our ever increasing coal mining industry en-route to the town of Belfast.
Stops will be made along the way for breakfast and the bathroom as we make our way inland towards Dullstroom, Lydenberg, Ohrigstad and then onwards towards the town of Phalaborwa in time for lunch. After lunch we enter the Kruger National Park and start our game drive up towards Letaba and then on to the camp of Mopani which is home for the evening.
We arrive late afternoon in time to check in to your chalet, and enjoy a swim, before sundowners in the bar overlooking the Pioneer Dam. Dinner is served at 07h00pm in the restaurant.
Day Two:
You will be woken by your guide at 05h00am in the morning, after which you may join him for a cup of coffee, tea and biscuits, before departing on your Open Safari Vehicle for a days game viewing in this magnificent park.
We visit water holes and low lying reveries and open savannah, hoping to spot as many of the big 5 as possible before breakfast. Breakfast is served at one of the camps at 08h30am, and then we continue on our exciting game drive.
In summer, due to the heat we head back to camp for a mid day siesta and depart again late afternoon for another drive, but in winter we are able to stay out longer and explore the northern section of this magnificent park.
We return to camp at sunset in time to enjoy a shower before a traditional Barbeque is enjoyed under the stars. After dinner at 08h00pm we depart on a night safari, hoping to spot a leopard or two and find our resident lion out on the prowl. We return to camp at 10h30pm in time to enjoy a good nights rest.
Day Three:
Once again you will be woken bright and early in time for a quick cuppa, before we bid Mopani farewell and make our way towards the camp of Letaba for breakfast, game viewing along the way.
Enjoy a buffet breakfast overlooking the Letaba river,
and spot the resident bush buck wandering around the camp. After breakfast
we stop off at the Elephant Museum and view the 7 largest elephant
that roamed the Kruger National park. We bid Letaba
farewell and make our way slowly back up to Phalaborwa and on towards
Johannesburg arriving late afternoon:

Four
days Aadventure Safari
Day One:
Collection from either the Airport, Guest House or Hotel by your guide at 07h00am we make our way toward Mpumalanga passing fields of Corn, Cattle and Sheep, as well as the ever increasing Coal Mines. We stop off for breakfast and the bathrooms en-route to Belfast, Dullstroom, Lydenberg and Ohrigstad on our way to Phalaborwa.
We stop off in Phalaborwa for lunch , before entering the Kruger National Park, for an afternoon of game viewing towards Letaba and then on to your camp for the evening. After check in to your bungalow, enjoy a sundowner or time relaxing before dinner is served in the restaurant at 07h00pm.
Day Two:
You will be woken by your guide at 05h00am in time to enjoy a cup of coffee, tea and biscuits before departing on your Open Safari Vehicle for a day of game viewing. We pass water holes and low lying riverines hoping to catch sight of the elusive leopard or lion, still out on the prowl.
Enjoy sunrise overlooking open savannah and herds of elephant and buffalo enjoying the coolness of the break of day before breakfast. After breakfast we depart once again on our way hoping to spot as many animals as possible before the heat of the day. In summer we return to camp for an afternoon siesta, before going out again in the late afternoon once it cools down, or in winter we are able to stay out for most of the day.
We return to camp once again for a shower and sundowners before dinner is served in the open boma. Tonight you may enjoy a traditional South African Potjie under the stars. Dinner is served at 07h00pm.
Day Three:
Once again you will be woken up at 05h00am by your guide for tea, coffee and biscuits, before departing on your open vehicle game drive. We make our way through to Letaba for breakfast , enjoying views over the Letaba River, while eating and also have chance to spot the resident bush buck roaming on the lawns.
After breakfast pay a visit to the Elephant Museum after which we
depart and continue on our days game viewing. We return to camp for
time to relax, before dinner is served in the restaurant, after which
you will depart on an evening game drive conducted by National Parks
rangers to spot as many of the night predators as possible, you will
return at 10h30pm to enjoy a good nights rest.
Day Four: This morning we rise early once again and make our way out
of the Kruger National Park enjoying breakfast outside the
park, as we make our way to the Panorama route.
We travel via Hoedspruit and Bushbuck ridge en-route to Graskop, stopping off at Gods window, Bourkes Lucke Potholes and the Three Rondavels, before continuing on our way back to Johannesburg arriving late afternoon.

Five Day Extreme Safari
Day One:
Collection at your hotel, guest house or airport at 07h00am in the morning. We travel eastwards through the highlands of Mpumalanga passing coal mines and farmland en-route to the town of Belfast.
We stop along the way for breakfast and bathrooms, before continuing via Dullstroom, Lydenberg, Ohrigstad on towards the town of Phalaborwa for lunch. After lunch we depart on your open vehicle and make our way into the Kruger national park and on towards the camp of Olifants which is home for the evening.
Check in to your accommodation and have time to relax, before dinner is served at 07h00pm.
Day Two:
This morning after an early morning wake up call at 05h00am, we get ready to embark on a Mountain Bike Trail for three and a half hours, experiencing the splendor of riding through the wilderness, with your ranger.
Here you might spot a lion or two, a leopard or elephant as well as numerous other game on your journey through the park. We return in time for you to have a shower and relax , before going out late afternoon on another game drive before sunset and dinner.
After dinner, climb onto a National Parks open vehicle and head on out for an evening game drive hoping to spot as many animals as possible before returning for bed.
Day Three:
After an early morning wake up call we bid Olifants farewell and make our way towards Letaba for breakfast, enjoying a sumptuous buffet breakfast on the verandah overlooking the Letaba River.
Here you will be able to view the resident Bushbuck wandering around the camp, grazing on the lawns. After breakfast pay a visit to the Elephant museum, which gives you insight into the 7 largest elephants found in the Kruger national park?
We continue our days game drive and make our way to the camp of Mopani, which is home for the next two nights. Tonight enjoy a barbeque under the stars on the banks of the Pioneer Dam listing to the call of Hippo frolicking in the water. Dinner is at 07h00pm.
Day Four:
This morning your guide will wake you at 05h00am in time for tea, coffee and biscuits, before meeting your ranger for a good morning walk through the park. Here you will learn more about the smaller animals and insects as well as be able to follow spoor of antelope.
Your walk will take about three hours, before you return to camp for a late breakfast. After breakfast time to relax either at the pool or catch up on sleep, we depart on a late afternoon drive returning for sundowners before dinner at 07h00am.
Day Five:
This morning we sleep a bit later until 06h00am, and then pack up, before we bid the camp of Mopani farewell and make our way back to Letaba for breakfast, before departing from the park and making our way back to Johannesburg arriving late afternoon.

Day Ultimate Kruger Safari
Day One:

We continue past Dullstroom, Lydenberg and Ohrigstad towards Phalaborwa for lunch. After lunch we enter the Kruger national park and make our way towards the camp of Mopani which is home for the next three nights. On arrival at Mopani we check in to your Chalet and give you time to relax or take a swim in the rock pool, before sundowners in the bar overlooking the Pioneer Dam. Dinner is served in the restaurant at 07h00pm.
Day Two:
After an early morning wake up call by your guide at 05h00am and enjoying a cup of tea and coffee served with biscuits, before embarking on your open vehicle game drive. Here we are able to spot most of the nocturnal animals still on the prowl, before the heat of the day. We return to camp for breakfast.
After breakfast we make our way to the Bird Hide, where you may enjoy the stillness and spot many of the bird species found in the area. We return to camp for an afternoon of relaxation, before going out again late afternoon for another game drive. Dinners served in the Boma, where you may enjoy a traditional South African Barbeque.
Day Three:
This morning we get you up bright and early in time to depart directly on your open safari vehicle for a game drive. We stop in the middle of the bush and enjoy the fresh air and tea, coffee and biscuits, before continuing on our game drive.
Breakfast may be enjoyed at Letaba camp which overlooks the Letaba River. Here you may view the Bushbuck roaming around the camp, enjoying the lush lawns and security of the camp. After breakfast we take a look at the Elephant Museum, before continuing on our game drive for the morning.
We return to camp late afternoon, in time to relax or either have a swim in the rock pool. Dinner is served at 07h00pm in the restaurant.
Day Four:
This morning after an early wake up call by your guide and a cup of tea or coffee, we bid Mopani farewell and make our way on towards the camp of Olifants for breakfast.
Enjoy a full buffet breakfast, before we continue on our way game viewing en-route to Satara, which is home for the evening. Tonight after dinner enjoy a late evening game drive, conducted in the national parks vehicles.
Day Five:
Today we rise at 06h00am and head directly for a morning game drive after having tea, coffee and biscuits. We try and spot as many animals as possible , before returning to Satara for breakfast.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, before departing from Satara and making our way towards the Orpen gate. We bid the park farewell and make our way towards the Drakensberg escarpment and Forest Camp which is home for the evening. Enjoy a delightful lunch under the Boma and deck which overlooks a small shady waterhole under a canopy of trees, where Nyala and Bushbuck quench their thirst.
After lunch at 15h00pm we make our way to the Wildlife rehabilitation centre. A wide variety of birds and animals can be seen here, where Brian Jones and his team nurses and nurtures the injured and orphaned rehabilitating them for their release back into the wild. Return to camp for a delicious dinner served under the Boma, after which you can embark on a night drive. Return to camp for a good nights rest.
Day Six:
This morning after a wake up call by your ranger at 06h00am enjoy tea and coffee, before departing on a morning walk. Learn more about the plants and insects from your knowledgeable guide, returning for breakfast at 08h00am.
After breakfast time to pickup and bid Forest camp farewell, before making our way back towards Johannesburg arriving mid to late afternoon.
