Day 1. MADRID - Monday

Day 2 . MADRID - CORDOBA - SEVILLE - Tuesday
Departure from the tour terminal, Oriente Sq., set out by 9 a.m., making the most of our time aboard to introduce ourselves to each other and learn more about what lies ahead. Our route takes us into La Mancha, the landscape of romance and adventure where Don Quixote tilted at windmills.

We'll wind across hills and down into irrigated valleys, to Puerto Lápice, a town lost in time, looking much as it did in the seventeenth century. We might even espy the establishment where an innkeeper conferred knighthood upon Don Quixote. Then we’ll pass onward through the region of Valdepeñas, where fine Tempranillo grapes are grown, and cross the Canyon of Despeñaperros, and pass through the town of Bailén on our way to Cordoba.

Here we'll visit the famous Mosque, one of the most notable in the days of Moorish rule.

Then we'll continue onward to Andalusia,Ecija, Carmona and Seville where dinner and comfortable beds await us in Seville.

Day 3 . SEVILLE - Wednesday
Breakfast, lunch - We'll stay all day in Seville, where the Moors have left their mark in whitewashed houses, tile roofs, graceful archways, and a warren of intimate lanes with surprises at every turn.

Our visit will take us to the monumental and stunning tower of La Giralda, the Cathedral that once echoed with daily calls to prayer, and the Palace of the Alcazar, with its delicately carved stonework and pleasure gardens that still delight.

Your afternoon is free to wander the alleyways of Seville on your own, and perhaps to stop in and sample the tapas at an inviting establishment

Day 4 . SEVILLE - JEREZ - CADIZ - VEJER - COSTA DEL SOL - Thursday
Wine Tasting Tour
Breakfast and departure to Jerez where an important wine cellar will be visited. Continue to Cádiz. with a Panoramic tour of the city then it is on to Tarifa and Algeciras. Optional visit to Gibraltar, continuing to Costa del Sol. Dinner & Overnight.

Day 5 . COSTA DEL SOL - Friday
Breakfast and dinner are included
Relax , enjoy , it's Mediterranean paradise. Days at leisure in the cosmopolitan Costa del Sol. Optional sightseeing tours are available upon request.

Day 6 . COSTA DEL SOL - GRANADA - Saturday (B,D)
After breakfast we head for Granada.
Take your time! We’ve built an extra day into this itinerary to allow you to explore Granada independently. Perhaps you’ll return to the fabled Alhambra for a stroll through its fantastical gardens. Or, you can wander the Albaicin, the last quarter of the city occupied by the Moors, with its charming maze of alleys lined with houses with secret patios. According to whim and interest, you’ll visit the museum of composer Manuel de Falla, or the Fine Arts or Archaeology museum, or spend your day café-sitting and shopping. We’ll be pleased to arrange a tour, if you wish, from a number of options. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 7 . GRANADA - Sunday (B,L)
We’ll visit the Palace of the Alhambra, which inspired caliphs, conquerors, and writers as noted as Washington Irving, with its magnificent rooms and intricately decorated Moorish archways. We’ll stroll through its fabled Generalife gardens and summer residence of the caliphs, of course, and there will be time to wander and shop on your own before you retire to your lodgings. ( Breakfast , Lunch)

Day 8 - GRANADA, TOLEDO, MADRID- Monday (B, L)
Our northward route takes us back through central Spain, to the historic city of Toledo, where fine steel making is a tradition and a craft, where Jews and Muslims and Christians all flourished in the Golden Age of Moorish Spain. Notable sights will include the Cathedral, of course, with masterpieces by El Greco; and the Alcázar, a fortress site from Roman times right into this century. Afternoon will see us back aboard the coach, on our way to Madrid . Upon return to Madrid: Our local rep will escort you from the terminal to hotel, Category "A" Melia Princessa Madrid. Day 9 - Tenerife - Tuesday (B)
Our staff escorts you to the airport for your flight bound for the Island of Tenerife

Day 10 - Tenerife - Wednesday (B)
Full day at leisure Island of Tenerife Drenched in sunshine all year round, Tenerife may be closer to Africa than Spain but the atmosphere is definitely Spanish -relaxed and unhurried by the day.

The island is buzzing after dark. A great choice of bars and restaurants offer traditional Spanish tapas and Canarian specialities . Nightlife is exuberant with clubs and discos .Casino Taoro (built in 1892) is a must for everybody. The atmosphere there is sophisticated and men are expected to wear a jacket

Inland,Tenerife is stunningly different. You may wish to explore the rural hillside villages and the twisted lava rock formation. Or take a trip to Mount Teide , one of the world's largest volcanic craters.

Day 11 - Tenerife / Madrid - Thursday (B)
Transfers are always included in Tenerife ( Reina Isabel Airport -South)
Fly back to Madrid and your hotel. Transfers are also included in Madrid

Day 12 - RETURN HOME- Friday (B)
